What do they have in the post?
6'4" forward (Prudhomme) and a 6'3" post (Persohn)  - give or take an 1". Actually, this team is taller than the previous two play-off teams for HJ, although that doesn't equal the height of Cleveland.
ok, thanks.  the Enterprise had Prudhomme as 6'2 in an article.  I didn't think that sounded right.
2.
Question...Why are most the Reg. Qtr. final gas scheduled on Wednesday night this year? Seems in the past they would be Mon. and Tues. with the Regional Tournament beginning on Friday.
Because TAKS is on Tuesday is my understanding.
3.
HJ vs Cleveland Wednesday night at Baytown Lee College!!!  Confirmed!!!
I thought you said Lee wasn't available for wed. night?
4. He never plays! Only a few minutes at the end of blowouts.  There are two freshman that come off of the bench that get all of the bench minutes.
5. They play Coldspring tomorrow night with a chance to force a playoff with Coldspring for second place in district.  They stand alone in 3rd right now.
6. If they win district they would play HJ in second round (all things remaining the same as they are now in 21).  Then winner of that game would play Cleveland in the quarters.
7. Cleveland won their tournament earlier this year and beat Stafford by 8.  They were without two starters in that game as well.  I agree with AAW, they would lose to all three.
8.
Hawks down 10.  they're fading late, just like last time.  Both times the Hawks have given the Tigers all they could handle, but both times (assuming this lead holds up) the Tigers' depth has been the difference.
fading bc of fatigue?
9. I was simply singling out Jarvis as a leader of that team, not necessarily the leader of that game.  He was limited in that game.  HJ's over-all team chemistry is always tough to deal with they seem to get the shot they want most of the time.
10. I think that game in Kountze has slipped many minds.  Cleveland flat-out layed an egg last year against HJ.  These seniors lost in OT by 3 to the Jarvis Benard led Hawks two years ago..and they were all sophomores.
11. well I am assuming Silsbee will win 21 and Cleveland will get the runner up from 21 in the quarters.
12. So according to the alignments Cleveland should play HJ in the quarters again for the third straight year.  Could the third time be the charm for these seniors from Cleveland?
