  1. Sounds like the commentators didn't want them to have that touchdown... ;).
  2. BEAUMONT CENTRAL JAGUARS (3-2, 2-0) Date           Opponent                                 Result Aug. 27  at  Port Arthur Memorial, 7:00 p.m.    L, 0-38 Sept. 3  at  Beaumont West Brook, 7:00 p.m.   L, 7-55 Sept. 11     Galveston Ball, 6:00 p.m.             W, 31-10 Sept. 17 OPEN   Sept. 24     Beaumont Ozen, 7:30 p.m.*         W, 41-14 Oct. 1   at  Livingston, 7:30 p.m.*                 W, 28-21 (OT) LITTLE CYPRESS-MAURICEVILLE BEARS (5-0, 2-0) Date          Opponent                                  Result Aug. 26 at  Goose Creek Memorial, 7:00 p.m.   W, 24-14 Sept. 3      Nacogdoches, 7:00 p.m.               W, 63-53 Sept. 10 at Conroe Caney Creek, 7:00 p.m.     W, 48-24 Sept. 17 OPEN   Sept. 24     Lumberton, 7:30 p.m.*                 W, 45-0 Oct. 1 at    Beaumont Ozen, 7:30 p.m.*          W, 24-15 I could sit here and compare these schedules.  The fact that we (Central) gave up 93 points to two highly talented teams (Memorial & WB) and that you'll (LC-M) have not played ANYONE of that caliber.  The fact that we schedule up and not schedule down, (take WO-S) off of your schedule.  The fact that our oppositions total records are (15-11) and you'lls (10-15) with the best being from Lumberton.  The fact that your record is "pretty" (5-0) and ours has some blemishes (3-2).  But what would that prove. We can sit here and say that prior to the season starting, everyone was saying that the road for district goes through PN-G.  Well if thats the case, i like that road.  Everyone predicted that Livingston would hand us our first district loss and that Livingston would go on to take the crown, well that didn't happen last night.  You beat Lumberton, who had a good 3 year run.  You beat Ozen, what I call our Basketball school.  Holla at me when you beat Central, Nederland, PN-G, Livingston and even Vidor on a consitant basis.  Holla at me when you make it past the 2nd round or even past the 1st round of the playoffs.  Until then, you are just the other school in Orange County.  But what would that prove. Us at Central know how it feels to always be picked against, be the underdog, non-favorite.  No score prediction needed, we will prove it on the field.  To all my Central fans, be there early and be loud cause apparently we still have something to prove.
  3. 27-14 Beaumont Legacy over Galveston O'Connell
  4. Not that it matters WOS-Grad, but you have Centrals district record wrong on there, it should be 1-0.
  5. Thanks for the updates Ulrich von Lichtenstein.  Now on to the next battle of the district unbeatens, Central vs LC-M.
  6. The-NHS, sounds like some hositily.  I actually picked you guys to win.  It's not my fault you are 0-2 in district.  What happened to the road goes through PN-G for district?  By the way, Central is leading 28-21... ;)
  7. Great job Ulrich von Lichtenstein, i'll try to get you a pay raise, lol.
  8. And after last week, I picked Vidor in this one.
  9. No Homer, that was for all those Indian fans that said Central would loose by at least 2 touchdowns to Livingston just because you'lls defense couldn't stop them.
  10. 21-21 Central/Livingston in the 4th with less than a minute left.
  11. 21-21 Central/Livingston with a minute left in the 4th.
  12. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  13. Ulrich von Lichtenstein, don't know if you're a Jaguar fan or a Lion fan, but thanks for the updates!
  14. Uhhhhhh, keep us posted Ulrich von Lichtenstein. :(
  15. Enjoy it this week LC-M, cause we (Beaumont Central Jaguars) are coming to pay you all a visit for first place next week.
  16. Lets go Jags!  Lets show these Lions and Indians that this is why we play the game.  2010 District Champs, here we come.
  17. Just where we need to be to show everybody that WE will win district.
  18. Stuck down here in Corpus Christi so I couldn't make it to the game.  Need some of you Jaguars to keep me posted on the score...

  20. Yea, he should have seriously thought about that and talked it over with his parents BEFORE he jumped ship.  Good call on not letting him play to the committe.
  21. LC-M has not won the district in at least 10 years if not more.  So until they beat the best from the last couple of years PN-G/Central, I can not put them as the best.  Having already beat PN-G, Livingston has the opportunity to accomplish that feat this Friday night.  LC-M has beaten Lumberton and possibly Ozen, I think we should wait till after 4 district games are played before we start realisticly seading for the playoffs.  Like Absent said, this is a weaker district than years past anyway.
