First and foremost I have to apologize to the Pirate faithful for not doing this more often this year; work, Harvey and all the other sundry things which have distracted us. However, it hasn't distracted this football team. Playoff bound after having our city go three feet underwater you've embodied the Pirate spirit of fighting and surviving adversity. Why would I want to take that cut in pay? It's just an observation; I only say what I see.

Our pass defense is breaking down because we've started backing off the receivers. Nederville beat us with two long pass plays and now we're afraid to play up tight; too much space. We weren't doing it before that game.

You play to win the game. Jeff and the boys will be playing to beat PAM for momentum to the playoffs; the worst thing to do is sit players. The biggest weapon Vidor has against PAM is Jeff Mathews...his game plan last year was spot on. Cosby doesn't scare us, it was a good game last year and will be a good game this year. I just don't want to play it on Thursday just like last year or like we played Nederville at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday after Harvey. Make it so your fans can come to the game and support their team. Period.

Defense was on the field for too long of a stretch between the 2nd and 3rd quarters but the offense was solid for the most part. Fawcett settling in @ QB and we have a stable of backs to choose from. I left at 35 - 7, gotta work tomorrow. Final anyone?
