There probably will be a 5A Div. 1 and 5A Div. 2 districts next realignment at which point you will be back out of the district. Just sayin'....

If either Central or Ned make the playoffs, Vidor will get Crosby. If Livingston gets the playoffs, Vidor get BH and Livingston gets Crosby because PNG will go D1. PAM will get the second place D1 team regardless whether they win or lose to us because they own the tiebreaker.

PAM gets Porter in the first round depending on the NC / Porter game this Friday. I'm thinking about scooting over there for it.

I keep changing my thoughts on who will be the fourth team out of district and this playoff game has me in a tizzy. Central has the kids but their coaching is inept at best. Livingston has the edge on coaching. Whoever wins this game has the upper hand on the playoffs because I'm just not sold Nederland can beat the Indians at the Rez when you know how desperately the purple indians wanna win. I'm gonna go with my gut and our true rival the Jaguars to win out and make the playoffs. Central 35 - Livingston 21.

No doubt you guys will score. The problem will be whether you can stop our offense because you've never faced it. I know you don't want to put stock in that but every 6A team we've played struggles with it. It's time consuming and frustrating for other teams and I'm not sure XBOX will know how to defend....regardless of your size. Get ready to run.....

Losing to an unranked team will do that to you. College football is full of those examples.

Y'all need to work on the band. Unfortunately it's only a shadow of the Mighty Mustang band that used to cover the field when we played ya'll.

PAM if you lose to NC; PNG if you win. Things are still up in the air from our district depending on who comes in fourth. Livingston has the best shot right now, IMO.

Honestly, I thought they would be. Splendora is next. That area is growing so fast, you have great facilities, good coaching, big influx of money and people = formula for success. The Cleveland area will follow. There's a lot to be said for changing US 59 into IH 69. A lot more money, industry, etc. always follows the improvement of infrastructure throughout history. I can remember playing NC back in the mid-2000s and there wasn't a lot of nothing that way. My how times change. Hard for schools that are stagnant in growth to keep up.

I believe we match up better with Crosby than BH. Several teams in the DFW area run the slot offense and it wasn't Westerberg's first go-round. I'm amazed how much stock these 21-5A guys put in that first game though. I hope they continue with it as well as their respective coaching staffs. Moving Maverick back to QB alone would have changed the dynamics of that game. And, to answer 14.2, I wish Cosby would get PNG at the Rez so they could play against the 16 players they have suited up on the field. Go back and watch the first half of that game on HUDL or YouTube, I'll give you my password, and you'll understand what happened in the second half. It was nearly as bad as the nederville game. Score should have been 29 - 13 at halftime, Vidor. I think I'm gonna pull up some of the threads from 2011 to show how much barking 21-5A did before 22-5A went 3 - 1 with Dayton the only winner over PNG. Cosby was gonna clobber us then as well. BH got smashed by Ozen.

I think the other way around. BH would be a tougher test...I'm not sold on Crosby stopping our offense. Maverick came in at QB against BH and we scored but I think their D-line is pretty salty. It wasn't their defensive line that cost them the game last night against New Caney. Also, we're definitely not the same team we played against BH with. Either way, it's gonna be tough. It's the playoffs, baby!!!!
