Granted! Not a good team to lose to, however, Lee had a game plan and executed well.  The two teams scrimmaged each other before the season and Silsbee dominated (Without the football players). During warm-ups, They should've been practicing those easy shots that they missed in the game instead of practicing dunking.  Too many short jumpers and put backs missed made a difference

Very young, and need a ball handler.  Have a couple of bigs that can do damage, but cant get them the ball.  Waiting on Sophmore PG Kaleb Hockless to become eligible (sitting out UIL transfer rules).  Should be back by district and they'll compete

Misprint in scoring, Josh Zellars scored 24pts in the last game.  Jaevon's on crutches.

Rayburn wins 53-45

Watched this game, They looked out of sync in their first game without a true point guard.  Baytown Lee has a talented group of Sophmores playing on Varsity.  All three Sophs (Denny Braxton 6'4" f, Kaleb Hockless 5'11 pg and Louis Fernandez 5'11 g) are projected starters this year. Kaleb is the new floor general after loosing Jaevon Richardson (senior) for the year due to injury.  Kaleb and Louis didn't suit up for this game and they were missed.  Lee has a bright future with this young group.
