  1. BC punts out of bounds with little forward progress. WOS 1st at BC 20
  2. Still 22-0 WOS. BC just recover own fumble but lose yardage doing it.
  3. Wos heavily penalized on kick off. BC return to 50 now down to Wos 42
  4. Still WOS 15-0. JD TD pass called back for holding.
  5. Once again I'm parked in front of my desktop staring at the weather radar map. Here's hoping for better luck in Orange County than at my location. So far it doesn't look bad weather wise for you.
  6. A curiosity question from an old, old fashioned guy who isn't a computer wizard and has never learned all the intricacies of this website. Instead of asking WOSgrad to individually PM everyone who doesn't Twitter but wants to know, is it possible to place the information at some location which can then be accessed and read by those who wish to do so? Is that possible within the parameters of how this site functions and in conformity with the rules?
  7. There was an old time college football coach who was known to run up the score. It earned him the nickname Francis "Close the Gates of Mercy" Schmidt. I always loved that phrase. Those old timers--wow! Like Winston Churchill they knew how to mobilize the English language and send it to war.
  8. Middle school football and high school football. Reminds me of a bit of truly ancient history. If that matters to anybody. In 1961 the 8th grade football team in Orange did pretty well. If you can call undefeated, untied and never even scored upon a successful season. That's right. Every game was a shutout victory. Fast forward to 1965. Same group of players now high school seniors. Season record. Two wins, eight losses. Needless to say, they didn't make the playoffs.
  9. What's This!!!!!!!!! Mighty Fairfield beaten 34-10. Fairfield who was not merely regarded as better than West Orange-Stark but astronomically superior to the Mustangs. Shocking. I dread to think what Mother will say.
