Thats a fact.  Some of them work with me and tell stories of how he went to Jr. High Schools and had try outs.....  We will just stick to winning with the kids who are supposed to go to school at E.C.

I haven't missed an EC game this year.  Our linebackers are very good and are the best in the district but this thread is about the best linebacker in SETX.....Come on Man

There is waaaay too much talent in BISD not to have 3 damn good football teams.  They need to go out and hire some proven talented coaches from outside of Beaumont and let them coach...

[/quote] Well eagleswoodville are you enjoying seeing how EC is reacting to losing Coach V?  Again Coach V took over a program that Coach Evans built and Coach Howard had for one year.  He did not build the EC program.  He will however have a chance to build the Galveston Ball program.  Coach Sutherland is proving to be a great hire.

[/quote] WOW.  You must be talking about EC's Jr. High running game on Thursday.  Roberts ran all over the field Friday night for a little over a quarter before he was pulled and played catch on the sidelines for the remaining 2 1/2 quarters.  The back ups ran the ball well.  I'd like to see the rushing yards for the game......

EC is getting better each game with their new coach.  Should be ranked #1 in the 1A and 2A poll.  Wins against Newton and Anahuac.  Pretty sure Orangefield and Kelly don't want none of what EC is dishing out at this point in the season.

OU-Ok St winner will play Alabama-LSU winner for the National Championship.  SEC winner will kick Big 12 winners butt.  A&M will get to enjoy SEC butt whippings on a regular basis next year.  Wow what a dumb move. 

I think he was looking to leave EC before H. Jones graduated. 

Does anyone know how Coach V and Galveston Ball are doing this season?

HF doesn't seem to be able to get the kids from Cheek that they use to.  Back in their competitive years, there were 3 or 4 athletes from Cheek playing ball at HF.
