1. LOL.  I bet the WOS fans are glad they changed the colors and fight song!
 2. FOUND:  One ugly purple and white feathered headress. Currently Located:  Nederland trophy case IF You Lost it:  Wait till next year and try again!
 3. Are posters required to have a certain amount of posts before they can send PMs??
 4. The kids now know more about technology than we did coming up, and I was in the first generation to be "raised" in the technology.  My daughter can pick up just about any game (or Iphone) and figure out in a few minutes.  She's not even 4 yet! ::)
 5. It looks like if we get the whole offense on track, we will do well in district.
 6. Thats what I thought.  I had something similar,  I came down on the side of my foot on the edge of the court playing Basketball.  The ER originally thought it was a ligament tear in my ankle, it turns out I broke the bones at the bottom of my foot.  Hurts like you-know-what.  Ended my NBA career.  LOL :) .  Good luck to the Vidor player and I hope he makes it back before the end of the season.

David has a MRI scheduled for Monday which will assist in establishing the exact nature of his injury.
Ok, can you explain the Lisfranc injury, or do I need to Google it?  I'm not being sarcastic, but it sounds like you are familar with the injury.
 8. Lets steer this away from a single player , shall we?
 9.
Just now getting to spend a little time after the Nederland game on the computer. Congratulations to Nederland from what I can read was a hard fought victory. I missed a great football game and that makes me nearly as sad as us losing. I guess I'll have to watch Manchester United and Everton go at it or the Rugby World Cup. No American football here. Prayers go out for David Bollinger, we need that young man and this is his senior season. Outstanding running back; fortunes of football.
Thats tough, they don't have NFL Sunday ticket over there?
 10. Good game Dawgs,  lets get ready for PNG.
 11.
Sounds like it will be a packed house.  Does I-10 run through Nederland?
I was going to give you detailed instructions, but its easier for me to google it.  You will take 69 South from Beaumont down to Nederland Ave.  Hamburger Depot is in sight of the stadium.
 12.
bigdog,  LOL  your $1.00 is in the mail... ;)  I can't see how anybody from Vidor making some claim that Ned. is rival is in any way trying to earn respect, the way I see it the Pirates will earn respect by winning in district period. Vidor's claim to fame does not hinge on whether or not Ned. sees us as a rival......lol.  It really is entertaining that Ned. things so much of themselves that some rival affiliation with Ned. could enhanced Vidor's legitimacy.    :o
I'll be waiting by the mailbox. :)  It seems some posters feel that beating Ned would be a step in that direction.  Vidor wants to do what Ned has been able to do for the last 19 years, be consistent.
 13. JV Nederland/Vidor score?
 14.
Wow, looks like Matthews is trying to soften us up and catch us offguard
LOL. Wont happen.
 15. Boy the surprise is just trying to stoke the fires arent they?
 16.

Vidor is the Rodney Dangerfield of 20-4a,  there is what 4 threads going now with them demanding respect.
You know bigdog your probably right Vidor could very well be considerd the "Rodney Dangerfield of 20-4a" on this board, because lets face it Vidor doesn't have a winning tradition, everybody knows that and you'll get no argument from me on that subject, but in my opinion the disrespect and disdain is quite a bit more deep-seated than High School Football. But since this is a high school football forum allow me to express my thoughts about Vidor football. It is my opinion that if the Pirates are successful enough this year to make a deep playoff run, it could foster a culture that would be capable of changing not only how some view Vidor High school football, but the way the town of Vidor itself is perceived. A winning football team could be one of the means this town can maybe shake the stigma it has had to live with for so many years, a stain that most Vidor residents have tried to change one person and or one act at a time. These Pirates want to win for each other, their coaches and their city, but they also want to win for each and every player that in the past has ever put on a Vidor uniform, for those young men who worked hard every day at practice and gave 100% and left nothing on the field and may or may not have had winning seasons, but each one of those young men down through the years have left something for these present players to build on and if you listen close enough the pride they felt still echo's in the halls, and locker rooms and on the field at Pirate Stadium. And this 2011 team has begun to own that tradition of pride, they have vowed to gladly take up that burden and they will play every down not only with their strength, not just with their vision and dreams but with the strength and dreams and pride of every Pirate who has come before them, this is the attitude and resolve these present day Pirates are determined to bring to every game and If these young men can change the atmosphere of the football program, maybe that could be a catalyst that could in some small way help change the framework with which others use to judge the city or people of Vidor......Go Pirates P.S.   As for trying to get respect, You won't read any of my post asking for anybodies respect......respect is earned not given.         But you can bet your bottom dollar the Pirates of 2011 will demand and earn their respect.
I do not disagree with your post at all,  I would venture to say almost all teams play for thier teammates, city and coaches.  Also ,  I don't intend any disrespect to your city , coaches or team, and you will not see me post anything otherwise.  A few years back, maybe but not now.  I think most Nederland posters see Vidor making thier claims as our rival as an attempt to gain respect.  Also, you used my signature line, that will be 1.00 per use please. :)
 17. no, it just smacks of desperation for you and your fellow vidor posters to start 4 threads trying to get respect.

We do not consider Vidor a rival 2.  Nobody wants to lose to Vidor because its embarrassing *** we have a proven track record (  ;D and so do they  ;D )     * the only thing that we have in common is consistency in game play ! we win , they lose They aarrrghh who we think they aaarrrrghhhhhh !!!!!!
Dude, your an embarassment to your city, do you actually read your material before you hit the post button? I know there are a lot of decent Nederland people that are praying to GOD  you don't post anymore!!!!! please do yourself, your community and the rest of the posters who actually have something intelligent to say a favor and find the rainbow bridge! ;)
Dude , A truly intelligent person would know how to spell embarrassment (*notice the 2 R's ) or at least learn to use spell check. 19. Vidor is the Rodney Dangerfield of 20-4a,  there is what 4 threads going now with them demanding respect.
 20. Nederland's  record vs thier "rival" moves to 52-9-1 all time.

You see Vidor as the true rivalry that you don't want us to be By the way, having 11 straight as your screen name since that streak has been broken is like BISD keeping the Recognized sign in their front yard!
How many straight does Vidor have ?
 22. Getting ready for the true rivalry a week early! :)
