I'd so record it and put it on youtube and on here.  8)
Maybe Fox will catch it and we can enjoy it from the comfort of our recliners at 10:35pm Friday night. (fingers crossed)

Does everyone have a ticket to this game?  ;D

All visitor tickets should be sent to NISD. And when they sell out..they sell out. No whining.
I agree NDNation That is what we do when we play each other. NDNation I am sorry that our voters will not approve a bond for a new or improved stadium. They will not even approve a bond for new schools that the kids really need...
We sell out on our side to...so I dont think even an expansion would hold PN-G and Nederland. ;D

I agree..no tickets should be sold at the gate...thats to far to drive to get turned away. All visitor tickets should be sent to NISD. And when they sell out..they sell out. No whining.

This is getting retarded..dont get this thread locked to. I seriously doubt Vidor is trying to withhold tickets...Not everyone is going to fit in the stadium..Not every Nederland or Vidor fan will get a ticket. At MCM, not every Nederland or PN-G fan gets a ticket. Thats Life. Move On>

Anybody know where I can find some tickets for the game?  ;D
Nederland is sold out at the highschool. Vidor says you have to get there early and hope they have tickets at the gate. Would make more since for Vidor to have sent all of the vistors tickets to NHS and let us sell the tickets for them, like we do at MCM. Once the tickets are gone you don't have to show up at the game to findout there are no tickets left.
I dont know how NISD does it...but at MCM, you must show proof of residence to get a ticket on PN-G side. Cuts down on other schools fans getting our seats...not that we dont love other fans sitting with us..but not for MCM...must have every seat for us Indians.  :D

I dont think Vidor would do anything dishonorable...other wise no one would want to schedule away games their.

So how does it work?..NISD pays Vidor for the tickets? Do they make a profit? Will it benefit Vidor more to sell tickets at the gate?

Alot of season ticket holders didnt get the Vidor tickets, we were told that they would sell them at the PN-G field house the week of the Game.

(1) Seating. The visiting team has the right to demand one-half of the stadium seats in relation to the 50-yard line in all League football contests, whether district games, non-district games or playoff games, unless mutually agreed otherwise by the two schools involved. A visiting team can demand one half of the reserved seats. A visiting team has a right to split the stadium in relation to the fifty yard line, subject to the end zone situation being equal, unless mutually agreeable otherwise
I was just looking at that jmoore.....I believe a team can make a rule for their field or a district could make a rule for their schools but I cannot find anywhere in the UIL handbook that says it is a UIL rule
I wouldn't be surprised if a school or district made a rule along those lines to keep altercations/incidents from happening. Makes sense, until the home side is sold out playing against an opponent that doesn't travel well or have much support.
I may have the district rules and UIL rules crossed.  Years and years ago during Vidor's homecoming games only could Vidor sit on the visiting teams side due to over flow.  However, the district does not allow the home team to sit on the visitors side any longer.  They haven't for years.
My question would then be.....how do you control that? If I dressed in black as a vidor fan and went on nederlands side then pull off my shirt to reveal a vidor shirt.....would I be kicked out? What if I wore a PNG shirt but was a vidor fan? I think the rule would be that Vidor cannot sell tickets to their fans through the school.....but if you go to the stadium and buy one that can't be controlled.....just wondering/not arguing
Cant see that ever happening.  :D

Alot of people will get left out!

We didnt even get enough Vidor tickets for our season ticket holders...They told us Vidor only sent 500 but that we could buy them the week of the game. Dont think it was done out of spite or anything...maybe they didnt have enough ready.
Whoever thought the NDNS would be on the rim ready to take the plunge. Since my early season prediction looks right on (PNG  2-8 or 3 -7 with a QB controversy prior to district play) I would like to make a couple more. After PNG drums Lumberton and barelt gets by LCM, we will be hearing all about how they are on a roll and may make the playoffs. However, this season is going to be the exact opposite of the last two. You will win the first 2 district games and finish with 5 loses in a row. Tough year. Also, I would not be surprised to see AJ leave the team early to go onto basketball since he is no longer the fulltime QB. I guess I will wish you better luck next year.
Wow...you should join the circus and set up a fortune telling booth...could make a lot of money..seeing into the future like that.

I call them reasons...not excuses ;D

Ironic...last season we beat Ozen and Vidor and turn around and get knocked out in the first round, while those teams go 3 rounds deep.

Weird seeing him in that uniform.

Maybe next year.
Im not sure what you mean... the season started a month ago.  We have already played 3 games.  You must not have been following.  Do I need to bring you up to speed with what has happened so far???  Now if you are calling District play the "season", I understand, but are you really expecting anything that much different than what we have seen so far?  If you are, I would love to hear some insight as to why you believe that.  I would love some silver lining right now!
To be honest... yes... I am expecting improvement. Changes are made before district starts, positions changed, adjustments made. Some of these players have never even played Varsity before...takes some getting use to. Thats what preseason is for. Some teams will be in a whole different place come mid season.
So, you must be referring to ya's QB change???  I hope that works out for you, havent heard anything like that over here though, so more of the same for us I guess.  The goal of every team is to get better each week, have you seen that so far?  I havent.
The last couple of seasons we have come out slow and took some games to get rolling...so we shall see. Are you a Nederland fan?
