I agree with you on the indecision making from Brook's QB. Wrong decisions on the option, intentional grounding (which the refs called a fumble ??? ??? ), and whether to run or pass. Young man tried and played his heart out though. I agree with you on they keying in on Michael, although I believe Michael did too much dancing in the backfield. I do not believe Brook would have lost by 4 TD's to katy. I do believe that Brook had something nice by sending LB blitzes in to dissrupt Dickinson's offense. They went away from it in the second half. The Dickinson QB had entirely too much time in the pocket. Also, Dickinson's offensive playcalling was so predictable! If they run a play, and it works, they do it the next play, and the play after that untill you stop it. It was going like this all day long. I do not believe that next year, will be a rebuilding year. Yall have something good going on in the West End and y'all will make the playoffs next year. Congrads on a great season, Brook. I will be with yall again next year (except if they are playing Central ;D )

This was a game that was made harder than it was. I believe Central played good football on both sides for 3 quarters. In the fouth quarter, we didn't have the killer instinct to keep it going. Heck, at one point, we went through a posession that we couln't even snap the darn ball. 4th quarter, we stopped a last minute drive by Lockhart with a big INT, only to fumble on the next play to give the ball back to Lockhart when all we had to do was Kneel it. You gotta keep your head in the game the full 4 quarters! Our defense played a good game again. Some of that tricky veer stuff fooled use for a big play every once in a while. Other than that our defense made good tackles. In this game, I give them a B+. Offense, was much, much better this game. Charlie Thomas looks to be back healthy again.. That Center to QB exchange needs a lot of work. On key drives, this slowed us down. We brought the backup QB in and he fumbled the snap too. Our Center almosed costed us the game, but I'm confident he'll get it together. I give our offense overall, a B+. Angleton will present a lot more challenges next week. Cannot turn the ball over. (BTW, I am happy!! ;D ;D ;D ;D but in the late in the 4th quarter I was like ??? ??? and :o and finaly :-X :-X > > )

I believe in 2003, the Nederland receiver, Atterberry, got ate up on a slant rout by Ozen's Tony Ward. That kid was slow to get up ofter this hit. But he went to the sidelines, sat out one play, and came back in like nothing happened.

Seeing him run against North Forest, he didn't look like he have his speed back. Hopefully he have gotten healthier and he can help this offense get better.

I'm ready alright...to bundle up. I heard it will be colder this weekend than last weekend.

Probably a few years back at the Westfield/Westbrook game. A Brook a kick or punt returner decided to jump over the pile. Why did he do that. The defender and him met in midair. Brook player fumbled the ball and was found laying in that same spot 6 minutes after the play was over. I was like Ouch!
