Jordan has a HIGHER BBALL IQ which says it all...and yes character is part of the equation...if basketball is 80% mental/20% talent then it's Jordan 80/ D.Frank 20....
Very good points!
 2.
Again like I said before it sounds like your beef is personal not basketball related cause we can hear it your tone. Central is extremely talented and like I said it's their BEST team since 99' ask Freeze1914. I mean dang after 10 yrs of losing to the same school don't you think it's their time to return the favor. Ozen isn't concerned about winning a measly district title their concerned with winning a state title. That's a huge difference.I thought your suppose to win when it counts which is postseason not regular season smh. You'd rather be a district champ than a state champ...lol...guess your dream of coaching will end where it starts nowhere... And btw you say Toe is not that good ive watched him and he's coming into his own keep in mind he's a sophomore . He's way more aggressive than he was last year and he's gonna only gonna get better. So OzensFinest concentrate on helping whomever and wherever you are get to where they need to be... And P.S. THE REAL SUPPORTERS GOT THIS.... 8)
I guess he TOOOLD you!  :o ;)
They beat nederland to go to regionals WOW big deal
They also had to beat other teams to get to that point.  If I'm not mistaken, didn't Nederland beat them in district AND was state ranked for a majority of the year?
Just tell you how much ozen's program has gone down nederland seriously? C'mon soulja, I've watched central this year their talented but not more talented than Ozen the big sophomore from central isn't that good to me
Seriously, Nederland has been a serious contender for about 4 years and counting..Where have you been?  Under a rock? Now, I call it like I see it.  Central is a lot bigger and talented than Ozen this year.  You say Wilridge (the big sophomore) isn't that good, but I guarantee you that he had double digit rebounds and about 5 blocks vs. Ozen in both meetings.

As far as we all know, Coach Washington is still there.  Wash is a good football coach and a great human being.  He will return the Jags to success soon.
I agree.  He IS a great human being...
 5.
BmtSoulja1 , wash is done someone is going to look good with 9 defense starters and 7 offense back oh we will make does basket players get in off season this year also!
he's If he's done, where's the confirmation on this?  I don't see it in any newspaper or other media outlet...
 6.
Kevin Goodwin of Center would be a good hire for this one. A younger succesful coach, good guy, good football mind, would be able to motivate and inspire the guys there while implementing an actual system instead of street ball.He has some ties to the area I believe. Which leads me to this question: As a sophmore, was Frank's role defined?
His role was defined as a freshman dove he was that good lead the team in scoring during the playoffs as a freshman btw that team went to state hunter is good but not that good...IMO frank is the best player to touch the hardwood at ozen with exception of perk frank...but maybe hunter isn't reaching his full potential cause saveat is coaching him that might have a lot to do with it
It's true that Frank lead Ozen in scoring in that playoff run leading them to state as a freshman, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Richard was the best player on that particular team. The next year, after Richard moved on to Tulane, Frank became the man.
No sir, franks was the best player on that team only reason he didn't start was because he was a freshman...Franks is the best player to step foot on ozen's campus with the exception of perkins
Smh.  Perkins wasn't even the best player on his team, but that's another topic for another day.  Richard was the best player on that team.
 12.
Between playing Nederland twice and playing AT Ozen, Central will have at least one district loss. ;)
Maybe we won't lose since we've beat Ozen twice already and Nederland once already on a neutral court.  ;)
 13.
We were all counting on Ozen to win this therefore disrupting Central's momentum and confidence. Now if Central goes undefeated and/or wins district IT WILL BE ALL OZEN'S FAULT  >:( ;D
:D ;D
If we plan to beat Ozen and Central, we need Lormier to continue playing like he did this weekend. We also need a healthy English. His play was limited all weekend, and he only played about 2 minutes in the 2nd half of yesterday's Championship game. Wish he would have not played at all. Ankles don't heal unless u rest them.
Ankle injuries can be some nasty little bookers. You wanna rest on it but you feel you might lose conditioning or timing. I've known some ankle injuries to take up to six months to heal. Nederland should probably rest English until early March  8)
Dove, you are something else.  I know what you're up to! lol
 15. As far as I know, Washington is still employed.... Unless someone knows something I don't know, which, I admit, would make my day...  ;)
 16. We've been playing some good ball.  I love the way we've been hitting our free throws.  Ozen fouled our Freshman, Pearson, and that kid knocked down a key free throw.  Shows that this team is getting close to playing the kind of complete basketball that I know we can.

 18. Yes, I was thinking the same thing.  Frank was a  player for that state runner up 2007 team.  He was expected top come in starting the next season as 'the man', which he did.  Hunter didn't have that kind of pressure since this is his first year of varsity play.  So again, it's Frank.
That"s true! BUT. Central will have 3 seniors and 2 juniors at that time running the show... I think that will be the year Central goes all the way!!!!!!
I was only in reference to Ozen, not Ozen vs. Central.  That kid will be a special one.  Just watch and see.
 20. Hunter is a dang beast.  And he's just a sophomore.  He'll be killer when he's a senior!
 21. Not a basketball guru, but I'd go with Frank.
 22. When I saw #23 go on a scoring barrage like, I thought about that old game, NBA Jam, when the ball catches fire.  That's what happened to Hunter!  I was scary to say the least!
