Just so you know, the dudes on the other side of town have had the same field house and weight room since the school was called Forest Park, some 30 years ago, without renovations or upgrades. If you want to complain to someone, complain to Central's AD, otherwise quit whining. It's all BISD, and it's all crap. Central's crap is no better/no worse that West Brook's crap! If you say ours is better, then I'd have to say our guys just take better care of their crap!

Aside from that, the heat that is generated from an artificial surface is just unbelievable. A daytime game in August or September is so hot, you wouldn't believe it. It's probably 125-130 degrees on the field level at times.

The Bruins also have six regular season games at home next season. Seven, if you count the scrimmage against Lufkin as it's also at Durley.

Fortunately, I have the pleasure of seeing these two teams (since we play them). I believe yall will get more recognition this year if yall beat one of the powerhouses. If all goes well, I think we might just beat more than one of those powerhouses!

This is just getting plain silly. For the most part, this forum has been turned into the SETXsports 3A/4A forum. That is what most of the posts are about, because we have the most number of 3A ans 4A schools. It's unfortunate because we only have two 5A schools in the area, and neither one of them have a fan support that I anyone should be proud of. Getting back on topic, if I weren't saying West Brook to be the most feared school, I'd have to say WO-S or Nederland. But unfortunately, we wont ever play any of the smaller schools in our area, except the kittens from the north end and the south end. It would be nice to see how some of the teams on that list stacked up against one another.
