Ok, I don't know about anyone else, but I am sick of hearing the same old broken record.  WOS, we know your team has many d1 recruits. Too bad you you can't even get out of the region with that college team. All that does is just makes ya'll look bad when you lose or have a close game with a bad team. You are a good team no doubt, but spouting the reasons why you should win because of offers makes no sense.

Yes defense wins only if you have some ofense. WOS does not. Jasper takes this one.

Coldspring will score more than 18 points on them.  ;)

Coldspring should have won by 14...... In regulation. #85 was wide open in the 2nd quarter but stopped running. Would have been a very big gain.

That was a bit harsh on my part and I am sorry for that. Just frustrated at what I saw. When Kirbyville beat us, we had a brand new soph. qb. and a young team. These guys have played top notch last year with the exception of a few youngsters. Numerous occasions we could have laid them out, especially on punt returns and short passes. Turnovers and yards after contact did us in. Need to take Ed Peveto tackling drills and gassers. I expect improvement next week. Mentally and especially phisically.

I'm glad we didn't play Huffman. Probably would have lost the way we played.

I was at the game and I was disgusted at what I saw. At what point did we forget how to tackle? And how to block? There's people out there that have no business being out there. During kickoffs and punts they would get down there fast just to let them go right by. The only bright spot was getting to the qb. Coaching was horrendous. Please do not let #2 touch the ball anymore. Put #15 on jv. Coldspring will get hammered next week if we play like the last 2.

I will not miss this one! Only question is where do the visiting team park? I looked on google earth and didn't see much parking on that side. I'd rather not walk through the snake pit.

I am concerned about the game with King. I hope it was because they were that good and we were overlooking them. Coldspring 21 Navasota 14.

DCTF has WOS moved up from #23 to #21.

I would be in for sure.  But hope it don't happen. The wife already complains bout the time I spend looking at posts. That would just put me in the doghouse researching everyone. But I would win.  ;)

Saw the whole game and here is what I saw.. From Coldspring. Missed blocks, missed tackles, letting recievers behind them catching up at the last second, cramping up from top FOUR players. From C. E. King - Well coached, not missing tackles, getting off of blocks well, not giving up. We (CS) underestimated a good team. We almost blew the game. CS cannot play like that next week against Navasota or we will lose. Some big plays for King got called back due to penalties. When halftime was over, our inflatable tunnel didn't work so the team just meandered to the sidelines without the band even playing the fight song. On a positive note, the backs seemed very quick. I'm sure Barbay will fix the issues. And who is this #32? That big dude ran down that qb right before the goal line. Impressed with hard hits from Giddens and Sykes. Need to have pickel juice or something on hand for cramps. Still can't wait for next week.

Well, would La Marque be picked as favorite to win 19-4a this year? If so, alot will tell when Coldspring plays La Marque in 2 weeks. All I know is that a Dayton CS game would be very exciting. BTW CS beats King 42-7.
