I didn't catch his name. But he is a transfer from PA. Only a sophomore I think.

It is true. I met the kids at legacy 7 on 7. He is a nice little athlete. Had great arm strength, but he is young. He still makes bad decisions and is inaccurate. But he will help the sharks out this year.

No doubt about the ball hogs. Much more pass friendly team = more successful season.

He played JV. Ocassionaly moved up with varsity, butt never really had any PT.

How does Murphy win the MVP? Isn't it suppose to be the most valuable player? He scored 13 points in 2 games against WH and had 5 in one game against BS. The "MVP" isn't suppose to ever be shut down like that. Yeah he had a good game against BS once and dominated HD and SP, but the District MVP is suppose to be unstoppable at all times in district play. My vote goes to the Hendrix kid from BS or Ridge from WH

I heard some people talking, and this is just what I have heard, but apparently there are over 30 already applied for the job. Anyone have any confirmation on this or about who is #1 for the job?

Coach Pickens is still here for now. It's hard to tell what's going to happen with the coaching staff for next year. There are some things going on that will not be disscussed over this board, but with all the rumors, only time will tell what happens to the WH coaches.

Well it's only basketball season and I'm already getting ready to hear the excuses you're going to make when WH goes undefeated for their first district championship in many years.

Yeah Caruthers is gone but he isn't the only player we have that HD couldn't and still can't stop.

West hardin has a good chance of being undefeated going it to district play. IF and I am saying IF West Hardin goes undefeated in non-district, then they will go undefeated in the regular seaon.

The game last year was 14-7 and HD was about to score until Marrberry went out. He was by far the best player/athlete on that roster,  And guess what.... he won't be there at all next year. HD fans, look forward to a long and miserable season for the bobcats.

In district WH lost it's three best players to graduation and they claimed their fluke win last year. H-D has Tyler Drake, Austin Edmondson and Garrett Hickman coming back. A fluke win is a close game. A 57-20 score is a fluke? And WH still has a ton of young talent from last year. West Hardin All District Players West Hardin 1st Team Calvin Ridge -JR QB (5 total TD's in the 57-20 "fluke" win. Oh and it was at the "tough" HD stadium.) West Hardin 2nd Team Justin Kelley- JR DL (4 sacks in the HD game) Mason Lawson- SO DL (3 sacks in the HD game) Robert Ryan- SO OL (6'2 around 260) All HD has to say about good players last year is Welch (Kicker) and Braxton (Newcomer) Yeah Drake, Edmonson, and Hickman are all coming back, but wait, weren't they on the team last year as well and got beat in a "fluke"?

WH has a bunch of kids comin back.Were only losin 7 or 8. WH will dominate HD just like last year. Edmonson Hickmon and Drake all played against us last year. WH has Ridge, Kelley, Lawson, Melancon, Ryan, and Pattterson. All which were 2nd or 1st team all district.

i play for WH and i can assure you that we practice EVERYDAY with a GUYS ball. we also played with a GUYS ball. Evadale just is upset that they didn't beat us by double digits like they did everyone else. and they won't beat us by double digits at evadale either. Excuses like playing with a girls ball is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. Is it unreasonable that WH may have actually played a great game against a good team and almost pulled out the upset? The game was close because we shut down murphy. he only had like 5 points. that's why it was so close, not cause the ball.

And WH really didn't shoot that well, they just played the best defensive game all year. You just think WH is soft and can't hang with Evadale. Give the guys credit. Yes Evadale still won but WH proved they aren't just another push over like Daisetta. Excuses like using a girls ball is ridiculous.

Well I said a 3 point nail biter, but Evadale pulled out the win instead of WH.

and if murphy is off??? all i hear is everyone praising him. does this mean if WH shuts him down they win? one player doesn't make a team.

West Hardin is lookin to make it a 3 way tie for first in the first half of district play. Evadale has a great team just like last year, but the Oilers are improved from last year. It's gonna be a tough game if WH turns it over and doesn't shoot well,  but i have faith in my Oilers. I say WH by 3 in a nail biter.
