when did i see you at bounce zone?  i was there, but if i saw you, i didn't recognize you or i wasn't paying attention.
You were going to your car, I was in the lobby paying for my sons party. You didn't recognize me. I was waiting for you to come back in to say something to you and I never saw you come back in. I wasn't upset, just giving you a hard time.
 3. Hopefully you will talk to me, unlike the other day when I saw you at Bounce Zone.
 4. I'm actually going to be able to make this one tonight!
 5.
when is the league website going to be updated. I check it for updates and it has been the same since last year. I know there is a board position for this responsibilty, someone should check it out.
Are you using [Hidden Content]; ? The old TCYB.org page is outdated, they don't use that one any more. The one I posted seems updated with info for the cleanup next week.
 6.
This is sad! I can't believe you guys ran up the score on poor little BC. You know they're only baseball players over there.
Their coach should have made them play better defense  ;)
 7.

Running up the score is wrong and Im not a fan of it, but that coach did say before the season that they were going for the scoring record. So let Houston Yates get their national glory this year and move on.
he might as well have said "we're going to run up the score every game, but since we're letting you know before hand, it's not poor sportsmanship"
Exactly, so if I walk up to you and tell you I am going to punch you and knock all your teeth out, it's okay when I actually do it. Stating that you are going to do something doesn't just automatically make it okay for you to do it. I know I am comparing a criminal act to basketball and they are on very different scales, but the principal is definitely the same.
 8. My guess is that they gave the and 1 then 2 more for the intentional. I am pretty sure that is incorrect though. It should have been 2 for the intentional and possession.
 9. wow really enjoying watching. Thanks!
 10. Don't think it was moved up because of weather. I'm not sure though. Also just saw in the Youth forum that HF vs BC is canceled.
 11. Not a cancellation and not entirely sure it is weather related, but the Henderson @ Silsbee junior high games scheduled for tonight will start at 4:30 instead of 5:00.
 12. Yeah my concern too. I have some traveling to do tonight and was a little worried about facing icy roads.
 13.
What next, charging the players to get in to play?
They already do that , it is called a tournament entry fee ;)  But I feel you, some of these tourneys have gotten out of hand.
 14.
[ Rake, couple of things... first, that was not Icewater posting that, I guarantee you. I know him and that is not something he would say. I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be some kids posting under his account. I'm going to let him know about this. Second, we offered to play the Jr High games on our practice field. It would have been perfect, but that offer was turned down. I'm not going to point fingers at who did what, but he offer was made. We wanted to play!
I thought something was amiss there too Gas. I have seen several posts by Icewater that were well thought out made good points etc., then all of a sudden he can't spell anything and posts like he is in 3rd grade. My guess is you are correct. I don't know him but from his previous posts that sure seems like it was someone taking over his account.
 15.
He didn't throw his helmet across the field.  It got ripped off his head.
I'm pretty sure this is correct. He got pulled (and flagged, I believe) for something else. Not positive what it was but I think it was taunting.
 16.
Feelings hurt?  Hardly.  Just weird to me that the only games that were canceled were the WOS vs HJ games due to "impending weather".
Once again check before you post ::) Weren't the HF Silsbee games canceled too?  Oh yeah they were... 17.

Gas, I didn't know that your games last week were canceled. Why were those canceled?
Because the field was wet... ::)
That's amazing. ::) Silsbee's Jr. High teams played at Orangefield last Thursday with no problems. In fact, when I got to McClain Stadium Friday night, you could hardly tell that it had been played on the night before. I walked the field from goal line to goal line, in between the hashes, and the field was in great shape. I did here that BC's field was pretty tore up though.
The HJ/BC game tore BC's field all up. that game was really muddy
Actually that game tore it up pretty but it was already somewhat bad, it was already soft when the Jr. high played on it the night before.
 18.
I feel the same way, Gas.  HJ made a big deal out of WOS volleyball girls "forfeiting" the game to go to a football game and we have a "possibility" of bad weather coming and HJ goes ahead and cancels before it ever gets here.  What's up with that? Maybe we should have done that with a couple of our rainy nights.
First the game was canceled by mutual agreement. It was due to the threat of bad weather and not wanting to have kids traveling on the roads in that bad weather. As was stated above we are under a tornado watch and I don't think either school wanted to risk something happening to their kids if the situation gets worse (which if you believe the forecast it will). After the West Book soccer incident a few years ago, there are a lot of parents and administrators that think twice about sending their kids out with the threat of severe weather. IMO it isn't worth the unnecessary risk to a kids safety just to get in an underlevel game. Apparently there are some people in West Orange that feel differently. Second, if you go back to the thread about the volleyball game you will see that most of the criticism came from people other than people from HJ. And I would say under level football games are a far cry from VARSITY district volleyball games that could have playoff implications.
 19. ?? You realize it is points between the three teams and not points all year? If it ends in a 3way they take the number you win by subtract the number you lose by and the team with the highest number goes. There is also a cap I believe. 16 I think but I am not positive.
 20. First off, it is in the 21-3A district minutes that all b games will be 6 minute running clock A games are 6 minute regular clock and 8th grade is 8 minute regular clock (I know this was not a district game but when district starts that is how it will be, if other schools even have two 7th grade teams). That is pretty well standard for most districts and it has been that way for a good while. It will be the same way in basketball too. As it was, the kids that had to ride the bus home on Thursday did not get back to the school until 11:30. The B games are played that way for that reason. If they had played a regular clock the bus would have been back well after midnight on a school night. The 7th A game was supposed to be a regular clock but for some reason it ran until about 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter (Odd that it started running right about the time HJ scored). And it could be worse, up until the last year or two many of the 4A schools in the area didn't play a 7th grade schedule, so you could be going through a week of practice then sitting in the stands and watching only the 8th grade play.
 21. 18-16. HJ scored with under a minute left and then picked off a pass with about 30 seconds left.
 22. No idea, we have not heard from anyone if he has made any of the teams. Hopefully, we will know by next week.
 23. We were not at the tryouts tonight, but a friend did confirm the $150 part. They did not hear anything about the 1k up front.
 24. I agree both teams played real well. They did make a lot of fumbles but who wouldn't in that type of weather. I know by playing football with my son it is hard to hold on to the ball in the rain or wet conditions. I just thank God thaqt no one got hurt seriously. As a mom I will be at all the games cheering on my son. I will be the loudest and most supportive fan in the stands and put it out there for all Vidor fans to show theire suppoort and come to the games. I will say I have a lot of respect for many of the Vidor fans. After the game they showed a lot of class towards the HJ team and staff as they walked back to the dressing room. I was very impressed with their sportsmanship.
