[/quote] Unless your JV is almost all freshman or your Varsity is stacked with good talent and the JV kids are the next in line you should focus on program results not just one team or the other.

Last winning season was in '01-'02 I believe, it has been tough out there on the prarie for the horns but I think Coach Carpenter and his staff have things moving in the right direction with the possibility of two district champs in the lower levels (9th and 8th) and only 5 seniors graduating look for things to be turning around out there in a year or two.

They played Coldsprings freshman the have two or three sophmore kids I believe that have never played before so needless to say they dont see the field much. I think they are playing a JV schedule unless the other teams have a freshman team but I could be mistaken.

The 8th Grade has lost one game to Coldspring in a hard hitting battle where they won the physical battle just didnt win on the scoreboard where it counts but are still in line for a district title if they beat Cleveland next week. The horns are starting to turn it around!

Ought to be a good one Huffman being at home helps them alot, they play very well there. I think its going to be the first test for CS this year that being said, Coldspring-42 Huffman-28
