the DEC will have the say on if he is approved or not.  I would think it unlikely that the DEC would approve a kid that doesn't live in the district.

If he did not move into the district or he moved for athletic reasons, he will be ineligible for 1 year from the date of enrollment.  Does that make SC ADA around 2300.  They may be the best 5A playing in 4A.

after the 2nd round, all the pretenders are gone.  Playoffs are the only fair way to get the top teams in the state on the same field.

The 3rd place team from 22-3A is very weak.  Wouldn't have made a difference who the team was.  Huffman and Coldspring way out front and everyone else stinks.

Coldspring and Huffman are the class of the district.  Cleveland, Liberty and Splendora are just not very good right now.  Shepherd and Tarkington are going to struggle as usual.

bjimbo...quit being stupid and read my post.  IF it happened without anyone knowing he was still looking then...yes that would make him gabage in my book.  When I sign on, I quit looking....at least for that year.  What's the term........umm.......loyalty.....apparently the HC at Liberty was doing him a favor by giving him a job. 

It would take a real piece of trash to interview and accept a position late in the school year and then keep looking and interviewing for other jobs.  If that is what happened, zero respect from my viewpoint.

Having coached in both EAST and WEST Texas, I would say that on a week to week basis, West Texas teams are better.  East Texas teams may have the best individual team most years, but they also don't have to buck up and play in a war every week.  Just my opinion.
