great game OF. congratz BC to making the playoffs... im a BC fan and if it were a vote for one of the teams i'd have to pick OF... they came 2 points short from being considered... didn't expect the game to be this close.... not one part of me thought of the game like this. Great season to both teams! was a very exciting year!

For any team down in this area to be able to go through any devastation such as a Hurricane like Rita or Ike to the loss of an amazing athlete, or the loss of an amazing student shows the dedication and hard work to just make it through the first couple rounds of the playoffs... i look forward to supporting ALL SETX teams in the playoffs... just as soon as BC is out of it!  :D [/quote] wos goes into every season with HIGH expectations. we want nothing more than to win state. heck, if a team wants or expects any less then they need to make a coaching change. its not arrogance, its confidence that has been instilled in that program from the begining. like the old saying goes, if you think you can or you think you cant either way youre right. [/quote] true and i agree with you...but for the players to have high expectations... as a fan that is eliminated from your side because you are not on the field.... when i was a player and people from BC were putting us down for the 0-10 season then expecting the same from my senior year was horrible... as a fan if you think negative it stings for the players... but if you think they are state bound year after year and they dont make it, it would make me feel liek we let the city down... and saying "this is the year" year after year makes you feel like each team you say it for is no better than the year before and wont do any better than the year before.... "high expectations" as a fan means nothing but disappointment for the players when they dont make it... atleast thats how it made me feel when we had the 0-10 season after the whole JV squad went like 9-1 the previous year smoking everyone but WOS and had "high expectations" to have a playoff chance the next year.... kinda stung.
