Wait one min..... WHAT MOST HATED POSTER PREDICTED THIS WOULD HAPPEN LOOOONG AGO??? Pakronos right again!!! Now, I get it. Kid is playing at a power 5 getting his education, which is the goal. If he was gonna be a qb at the next level... U of H would have been the place. Wow lol... TOLD YALL SO!! And to clarify I never said he wouldn’t play... I said he would be no qb

i like it. it's different from everyone else.

no, kaden was a non factor in the scrimmage. matter of fact they put him in the very end and the coaching staff had a good laugh and this scrimmage wasn't in PA. they could not move the ball. you know me, i pull for the boys, but im being real. it would not shock me if they went 6-4, but expecting a 7-3 season. maybe two rds. Brandon is a good back, but they gonna have to use a rotation for the ground game to be successful. BoGip son is the bright proven spot in wr corp being a possession guy. lil augustine got some speed. i'm not a guru, but i seen this with PAM teams in the past. if ALL you have is a running game with an unknown passing attack, defenses just gonna play the run and put 8 in the box and MAKE the 5'7 qb beat them. if he as good as everyone saying, as in shadow creek and summer creek good, then we shouldn't have a problem. i been sold lies in the past about teams and they have been over hyped. over hyped DB's that would get smoked. lets be real honest, only REAL qb's to come out of memorial have been harmon, singlton and the dude after singlton(cant think of his name). whats funny about that is there was no hype about them lol. they straight balled.

for me it's the same song and dance. the difference is WOS is not as intimidating. yes when they play teams in the district and playoffs, they are better. once certain teams get it out their head that wos is some mecca of HS football( the talent imo is even across the area when it comes to nederland, png, and if they EVER played PAM).
-
no, i remember we looked like doo doo. Harrison was a freshman on varsity and i went to the atascocita scrimmage and they looked awful!! they went 3-7 that year.
-
I said what I said. we shall see. the reason I don't have PAM in there, anytime we scrimmage and we struggle to move the ball, we don't have a good season. when we moved the ball with ease, we have a very good year (hines junior and senior year during scrimmage play, the ball was easily moved. the Kam Martin years, not so much.)
-
gonna go out and say it now. Westbrook and Nederland gonna be the best teams in the area. PAM,PNG, WOS will be the right below them.
-
Nederland by two td's...the pony boys glory days are behind them when playing up.

but that's what I mean. maybe I should have said I'm worried about the OL play. by him being 5'7, if the line not doing what they suppose to, he gotta run around. a 6'2 -6'5 guy, if he worth his weight, can still see and get rid if it. that's what happens to drew breeze. pressure u the middle and forces sacks/turnovers.

PAM-20 Deer-17

my issue is that he will have to go outside the pocket to throw. at 5'7, he's shorter than the RB. i predict that he will end up running more than throwing. i don't see us in the playoffs more than two rds. spare me the kyler murray example....if he's that good....then i stand corrected. defense going to have to set the tone.

i really wish i could have seen the QB 's in action for PAM.
-
thanks!!! prior to this scrimmage, i predicted a 7-3 season at best for PAM, but would not be surprised at 6-4.
-
sorry, just saw this after i posted
-
is it game like scrimmage? and did PAM score on the 7 play 35 yards?
-
probably cause theres not much there in Winnie. I mean in the way of jobs and housing
-
first off, is that pic real???LOOK AT THE BLEACHERS!!! ITS A CHICKEN BOX!!!
-
crosby has bigger issues than football...
-
i say nate holmes, but yeah James Johnson wasn't no slouch and he did it when PAM was playing mega high schools and in a tough district. i was saying holmes cause that was the deepest playoff run. too many variables between holmes, dauphine and hines. holmes had the luxury of having a TRUE dual threat QB and had Romar in the back field with him. so that opened things up for him. as mentioned, Dauphine had bad play calling but was a man child with some fumble issues. hines would be the third best cause he wasn't big, but strong(he chucked a highly toted PNG LB like it was nothing lol), but kid had SPEED and FOOTWORK.
