The Deweyville boys Varsity Basketball team was scheduled to play the Evadale Rebels in Deweyville Monday November 29th.   This game will now be played Tuesday November 30th at 6:30pm in Deweyville.  This game will follow our Girls Varsity game, against Legacy, that is scheduled to begin at 5:00pm at Deweyville High School.

  16. On Tuesday Feb. 17th East Chambers traveled to Deweyville (15&17), (5&7). The Pirates came away with the victory 74 to 64. This was a big win for our young men after loosing to East Chambers in overtime at their place. It has been several years since Deweyville last defeated East Chambers in basketball. These players have moved the program forward this year. We are very proud of our young men.   17. On tuesday Jan. 10th the Deweyville Pirates traveled to Hardin for a key district 23AA matchup. Hardin won 77 to 70. Score by quarter DV 19 31 52 70 HD 20 39 55 77 Congrats to the Hornets
  18. On Tuesday Jan. 3rd. the Buna Cougars traveled to Deweyville (14&15), (4&5), for a key district matchup. The Pirates came away with the victory 67 to 54. The Cougars led at the half by 6 but the Pirates scored 26 in the fourth to put the game away. Once again the Pirates featured a balanced scoring attack with four players scoring in double figures.   19. On friday Jan. 30th the Warren Warriors traveled to Deweyville. The Pirates came out on top 85 to 54. Four of the Pirates scored in double figures, with senior Colby Caswell scoring a game high 33 points. Score by quarter DV 25 42 68 85 W 13 23 41 54
  20. On tuesday Jan. 27th the Deweyville Pirates traveled to Kountze for a key district matchup. The Pirates fought hard but ended up loosing 105 to 83. Colby Caswell led all scorers with 32 points.   21. On friday January 23rd the Deweyville Pirates traveled to East Chambers for a key district matchup. In a game that went back and forth all night the Pirates lost a close one 76 to 82 in overtime. It was a very physical game with four of the Pirates and two of East Chambers players fouling out.   24. On Friday night Jan. 9th the Deweyville Pirates (11&12), (1&2) traveled to Buna and lost 64 to 57. Buna jumped out to a 19 to 9 first quarter lead and extended it to 35 to 20 at halftime.
