I've been to all the southeast Texas towns and  Vidor is one of the better ones! Believe It!!
I nearly peed on myself, what a laugh!!!! I live outside of Nacodoches.  Born in Beaumont and lived in Silsbee for awhile. Any other questions? Careful Tejas, or you'll be sent packing. First warning.
 2.
The Brook should have quite a few..........
What I thought.  Fred Ford from K-ville.  K-ville also has Justin Keene and Caleb Cucancic. Mark Roberts from WOS.  WOS has the next blue chip in the area in junior to be Justin Thomas.  He'll be recruited like Earl was. PAM has a bigtime receiver. Probably more, but those are great possiblities.
 3.
Wow!  ANOTHER all world K-Ville thread? ::) ::) ::) [/quote If you can't post anything football related, I'll have to remove you from this board.
Take a drive through town, especially the south end.  You get plenty of material to pick about, in Vidoria...........  :D
You have the immaturity of a 3 year old... How about we take a drive through the worst part of your town and then point it out on here... How would you feel about that? I feel sorry for you and for anyone who has to deal with your ignorance...
My ignorance?  Heck, I'd would be a Rhodes Scholar in Vidoria.  All towns have bad parts, good point, but very very few towns have nothing but bad parts.  Vidoria is one of them.

 6. Back-to-back is hard to do.  Congrats to Toby and the Mustangs.
 7. I'm not a Vidorian like, SFA 85, but I would venture to guess that Matthews thought that a 60+ point loss early in the season is not what is kids needed to go through.  Just a wild guess.
 8. I hope the Barbers Hill faithful will be patient with Gage.  In a few years, BH will be better than ever before.
 9. Great pickup for the Horned Frogs.  Keep'em coming.
 10.
Okie Lite  :oI couldnt believe it until i read this.[Hidden Content] Mack left his foot off the peddle on this kid.
Go to youtube and check out the video on Malcolm Brown from Cibolo Steele.  Supposedly the best RB in the nation.  That's the one Texas wants.
 11. I heard they were going with field turf because installing grass every year was getting expensive.  Every spring they would catch the cheerleaders grazing on the grass, so putting in field turf will save them money.
 12. IMO the best chance of playing in mid December is Kirbyville.  Despite going 3A, they return their best team of the Alvarez era, and won't have to play WOS, Carthage, Gilmer, and the other big boys of 3A. Newton always has a great chance, their Newton, and this maybe Barbay's swan song. WOS and Westbrook are the only other two with a shooter's chance IMO.
 13.
Tejas did you know that Cameron Yoe did not even make the playoffs? You are right we will see against Cuero but please don't come onthe this post where so far everyone has been positive amd try to stir up stuff. Orangefield and Bridge City are two fine baseball teams and the list you put are also good but let O'field have their day.
You have your opinion and I have mine.  Orangefield has a good team, the best they've had in a long while, but I look for a team that has been there, done that to make it to Austin.  Jasper and Carthage are the first that come to mind.  Orangefield don't have horses on the mound to play at Dell Diamond. Congrats to the Field on a great year though.

(emphasis added)
I expect each poster to reveal a little about themselves. You did a fine job.
Come to whatever conclusions you want, Yates is a by-product of the 3rd ward ghetto and is nothing more than a ghetto school.  If you want to act like its a basketball utopia, and Wise is the Larry Brown of the hs level, then the joke is on you.  Going around making absurd assertions about Wise's abilities and level of recruiting expertise, and making the 3rd world ghetto and Yates out to be anything other than a dump, like you woe-is-me libs do then you are telling plenty about yourself that you should keep private.

 17.
Orangefield is as solid of a 3A team that I've seen in awhile. They have really stepped up their game from last year on the defensive side, the Huckaby kid and Evans at SS imo is a big reason. Everyone in the Bobcats batting order will put the ball in play, no easy outs. Statum and Angelle are two solid starters, if their No.3 can be effective as these two, might be a long run.
They're good, but I don't see them in Austin.  Too many good teams in region 3, and they don't have the pitching to make it. Carthage, Jasper, Waco Robinson, Cameron Yoe, B.C, will all be waiting on them. We'll find out how good they are this week when they face Cuero.  If Arndt pitches, they may not get a hit.
 18.

.....You didnt answer the question about the Yates J.V. kids, are we going to see any of them next year, or is the recruiting class too strong. And if thats the case how should those J.V. kids feel about that????
I don't know anything about Yates JV kids --  do you? -- and only hear speculation about transfers/recruits to Yates next year. I would not be surprised at all if there are some transfers to Yates next year. Wise is and has always been a top recruiter and a top coach. I've stated both multiple times on these forums. JV kids will be very disappointed if that happens. Therefore......what?
LMAO! If Wise was so "big time" maybe he should accept a college job.  Only HISD was allow the trash that goes on to go on.  Yates in their eyes, and obviously in your eyes is the shining beckon for Houston ISD, and hell or high water they will make sure they have the weapons on campus in  2010 to keep their success going.  Wise is a joke, and if he has to rely on JV kids to keep from getting beat down next year, you and all of Houston will realize he got by on his AAU select team talent, not his coaching ability.  I suspect Wise knows he's been blessed with great talent and a weak administration, and he will continue to bring in elite HISD talent to supplement what he lost to hide the fact he's a good coach, not great.  Yates is a dump, Wise is a prick and unless they cherry pick HISD's best BB talent they will get what they deserve next year.

Were parents support their kids in great numbers and they get a better education based on numbers than Westbrook does or any school from Beaumont except Kelly.  :P
Hey PMS Orange, We support our kids in great numbers too...use what ever numbers you want tampax, if my boys are in the top 15% of their class....They're probably number one or two in Orangefield...
Dont sell yourself short.  Top 15% at Westbrook is likely at least salutatorian at Orangefield. I don't dislike Orangefield, but two things I've realized over the years is 1.  they don't pay, and aren't willing to hire a big time coach.  As long as your a yes man and buddies with the sup, you get the job.  2.  They are fantasy minded.  They start off 3-0 with wins over Buna, Tarkington and any other annual scub they think they are great.  Any time they play a decent team they lose.   Its been a long time since OF has had a legitmite team that could compete with anyone decent.  But you'll have a hard time convincing them of the truth though.
You have no clue what you are talking about. How did we go from education to football? I will agree that Orangefield does not pay big money for coaches But we do have a good AD now and he will turn things around. I am not just talking about "Wins". Our tax base is largely on the cummunity. Our boys may not compete well in football but they compete well in some of the other sports. Our girls program can compete with anyone and does. I am sure some parents in Orangefield are delusional about their expectation for the program. Those same delusional parents are at every school. It's not like westbrook is setting the world on fire with their athletic sucess either. No fantasy here just reality.  One more thing, your great, wonderful superintendent who had a stadium named after him has a salary that is more than everyone that works in our administration building put together.
I know plenty.  I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what Orangefield is good in on the boys side.  I guess a 1 year wonder on the baseball diamond constitutes as success.  IDK.  The boys track team is an udder mess, didn't even field a mile relay at the district meet.  Ed Peveto would roll over in his grave.  And I believe the track coach is kin to him.  Boys basketball fields a good team every 30 years, and football, well, as long as they play Huntington, Tarkington and Buna they will be fine. Tell me, what has Huckaby done.  From what I hear, most in the community cant stand the guy because of his personality and arrogance.  You get what you pay for though.
 20.
Congrats CBT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As much as you are on his jock, maybe you can convince PAISD to name their new stadium after him.  After all he's done so much for SE Texas education....  LMAO. CBT is nothing more than a self loathing, cocky, overpaid POS.

 23. Further evidence that this guy isn't the coach some on this board make him out to be.  4th biggest city in the US to supplement all his graduated talent.  All this guy is is an AAU coach in the UIL.  He's use to fielding teams with players from all over and is continuing doing it at a public school.  The Houston ISD is too ch!chen sh!t to do anything about it though.  I guess they feel it brings some recognition to septic tank of a district.
 24.
Not from beaumont and glad of it....I have lived in Houston before (Galena Park; Northshore area) and dont recall hearing all the fuss that i always hear coming from the Beaumont area. the only way to fix the problems that you have with the school board and the sup. are to VOTE them out just like our congress and the B.O. Regime come November.  Until then, you are just wasting you breathe.  And yes, SFA85, every post (written by you) I have read since I created my screen name has had some sort of racial rhetoric to it.  Also, the problem is not just with BISD or PAISD or any of its students.  It is with the adults as stated earlier.  As a country we have become so politically correct that we cannot fathom someone questioning another without being accused of some sort of "ism" ie: sexism racism.  we cant question the people that we elect and put into office even when we pay their salary.  as i read earlier only 6% of the people polled thought it was a good idea to use CBT as the name for the complex.  I personally believe that only a self loathing individual with a great amount of putrid arrogance would do such a thing as take taxpayer money to build something only to have it named after themselves.   Kind of the way our governmet works all the way up i guess.  it's no longer the power of the people, but the power of the individual and what can be done for oneself.
Great post!
