  1. Haha my bad... As of right now, Go Man U and Houston... But if I were to guess as to who is going to win MLS cup at this point in time, I would have to say DC United, they are on fire!
  2. Well college is keeping me pretty occupied at the moment... lol
  3. Week 7 Illinois @ Iowa LSU @ Kentucky Louisville @ Cincinnati Auburn @ Arkansas Oklahoma St. @ Nebraska Texas A&M @ Texas Tech - wish i was wrong :-\ :-\ Missouri @ Oklahoma Colorado @ Kansas State Purdue @ Michigan Georgia Tech @ Miami
  4. Mathews - $52,029 437th highest paid coach... HORRIBLE
  5. My heart goes out to Vidor's #57, Anthony Fowler. His dad passed away today and he still played in honor of his dad's memory. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family bro...
  6. I think it's awesome that basketball is getting alot of hype these days too, not just football... IMO I think my aggs are gunna have a hard time finding a replacement for Acie Law, but who knows... Anything can happen...
  7. Kentucky @ South Carolina Oklahoma vs. Texas Oklahoma St. @ Texas A&M Nebraska @ Missouri Kansas @ Kansas State Georgia @ Tennessee Virginia Tech @ Clemson Florida @ LSU Ohio State @ Purdue Cincinnati @ Rutgers - i dare to be different for the second week in a row!
  8. Hopefully we will run different plays, and get some variety in the offense... It seemed like we ran the same plays, ALL NIGHT against Nederland...
  9. Good article, and I hope to hear good things to come from him, even though I am from Vidor and a Vidor fan lol
  10. If the Tribe can keep A-Rod quiet, i say they take it in 6
  11. Way to go to Soph. RB Jacob Peevey for Vidor, had an excellent game (almost if not over 100 yds rushing)... Keep it up! And congrats on the win Ned, yall outplayed us the entire second half, good luck in the rest of the season...
  12. I was only able to watch the first half because I had a class at 8, but from what I saw, Brazil outplayed the U.S. in every aspect. It seemed like Brazil was always first to the ball, hustling EVERY play, making the attempt to advance forward instead of playing the long ball. Of course the own goal was a mistake, but I guess that was a sign for things to come for the rest of the game for the U.S. In the first half it seemed Abby and Lilly were invisible, they weren't getting any touches at all, which the U.S. needs to win. The defense didn't seem like they were there to play, Brazil kept getting passed the last line TOO much. It seems like the U.S. does fine in group play, but when the get to the semi's they find a way to blow it (against Germany in 2003) and now. Very disappointing for the U.S. But now i'm rooting for Brazil to shut down the Germans, tired of them winning, ;)
  13. I've seen it muddy once, and that was about 5 years ago when i was playing 8th grade football, we played there and it was horrible, but thats the only time...
  14. Due to the fact that they didn't lose much, and Fernando and Horacio are still playing, I think that they most likely will make it again... But don't think that they aren't going to get tested, Lumberton/Nederland/Vidor/PNG will all provide tough challenges...
  15. ndn09... I think that you post the same thing every 5 minutes... You also posted a question, "who do yall think is going to win this one" when the thread is already about who is going to win, and not to mention the fact that people had already posted their predictions pages and pages before your statement...
  16. Like somebody said earlier, Vidor beat Central @ the Babe in 2005 (district game)
  17. Week 5 West Virginia @ South Florida Notre Dame @ Purdue - i dare to be different! Oklahoma @ Colorado California @ Oregon Michigan St. @ Wisconsin Clemson @ Georgia Tech Alabama @ Florida State USC @ Washington Auburn @ Florida Louisville @ N.C. State
  18. Statue of Liberty (Boise State last year vs Oklahoma) Hook and Ladder
  19. You mean to tell me, the weekend I choose to come home from college for a few days, theres going to be another hurricane hitting?
  20. It is a great thing... All through my years of high school, my dad wouldn't let me play if i didnt even have a B, so i still succeeded in athletics and in the classrooms as well... If the schools go without making the athletes pass, then all theyre there for is for sports, when like somebody said earlier, how many people are actually doing this for a living? not many...
  21. Week 4 Texas A&M @ Miami - My aggies are riding high after a big win Clemson @ N.C. State - Clemson staying strong... Air Force @ BYU - Air Force motivated after overtime win vs TCU Penn St. @ Michigan - I might be stupid but Carr does have Paterno's number the past couple of years, and after beating ND that bad, I think they continue the winning ways for once lol Michigan St. @ Notre Dame - Bad year for ND Texas Tech @ Oklahoma St. - Tech will win after Ok St. still recovering from big loss to Troy Georgia @ Alabama - Saban keeps the Tide rolling Colorado St. @ Houston - no idea on this one, go coogs! South Carolina @ LSU - LSU by atleast 3 scores Washington @ UCLA - UCLA wins by 3
