1. I would like to say some of the post by certain kirbyville fans are not what all kirbyville fans think like and say. And on behalf of this particular question I would like to say that East Chambers has been nothing but improving over the last 10 or so years and I believe one day they will reach the title game and win it!
 2.
LOL, its the truth though. I've seen more athletic teams get spanked by a simple basic fundal mental football team. Example: Kirbyville vs Muleshoe for the title game back in 2008! Kirbyville was the better team but simply got out coached!
Kirbyville was not the better team. Kirbyville had much better athletes than Muleshoe. Much more speed and quickness but lacked in discipline. Which turned out to be the key in who got the ring that year.
 3. Thanks everyone for the updates! Wish I could've been there! Go Wildcats!
 4. For the record I seen A 4-2-5 Defense. Like you see TCU run and let me tell ya it was looking good! ;-). Kirbyville should be a very decent football team. And will probably finish 2nd or 3rd in district. Its a 3 way toss up for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in this district IMO.
 5. I say back to the starting rotation. Where I believe he was doing a fine job!
 6. 52-34 going into the all star break with 8 all stars and 4 games ahead of a peaking Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem team things seem to be looking good for these guys at this point. From a pitching stand point things are looking much better at this point than I personally believe anyone expected. With a team ERA of 3.72 that ranks third in the American League behind the Oakland Athletics and LA Angels. Matt Harrison up to this point is 11-4 with a 3.10 ERA, Yu Darvish 10-5 with a 3.59 ERA not to mention 117 K's. Offensively Hamilton has hit 27 Homers(Tied for first in MLB), knocked in 75 runs(1st in MLB), And an OPS of 1.087 (Third in MLB). The rest of the rangers bat are sort of quiet to this point other than Beltre 326 Average, 15 Homers, and 54 ribbies.

 8. Well put ryker and as for the guys who did walk out regrets will follow especially the seniors! And for the returning underclassmen like ryker said next season starts today go do work and prepare for a winning season next year!
 9. WO-S go take out this arrogant fan base of Coldspring would you? They finally have a good team and all of the sudden there untouchable! I was pulling for Coldspring up until i read this thread now I will be supporting the mustangs the rest of the way through!
 10.
New season Kats! It started this week and everyone is 0-0. Forget about records and who played who. Go after Rusk with all you got and let the chips fall where they may. Wouldn't it be great to be undefeated after this Saturday!! From an old close neighbor that happens to wear purple: Go get 'em Wildcats!! ;)
Thanks Champ good luck throughout the playoffs this Wildcat fan is pulling for yall
 11.

Those times ave long passed. Yes we had up and downs but we are up for the next two years at least. You should not of let us get Barbay from you. lol
Yes Barbay a good coach, but Kirbyville will be back on top soon buddy!
Yes Kirbyville is down this year and Coldspring beat us badly, however i can date back to when Kirbyville probably didnt even start first string against Coldspring. But thats beside the point Coldspring gets good for what the third year and they sound unstoppable. Let me warn you Coldspring the big head is gonna get you just watch and see
 12.

District Records 3A  - District 18     Diboll4 -6   Kirbyville2-8   Huntington 1-99 Combined record of the district opponents Jasper beat was 11 Wins 29 losses Badly defeated by Chapel Hill “They are what we thought they are!”  OVERRATED! Just like the coaching staff!
What's your point... :o
Kville_Kats i think he basically means we all suck
 13. Unless Kirbyvilles defense has a complete turn around from last week this is gonna be a long night but the offense is doing great though.
 14.
Funny that y'all are playing diboll tomorrow and still whining about losing to Jasper
No the funny thing truly is Jasper seriously thought they could get revenge on the scorching we gave them last season but could only beat Kirbyville by 2 with a little zebra help.
 15. I'll assure you Jasper will be going for the gold in this one! Good luck Dawgs! Jasper by 3 Touchdowns
 16. Havent seen Diboll play this season but I did last season and Terrance Taylor is a heck of a runningback and I look forward to seeing him on the field. This is gonna be another offensive shootout the winner being whoever has the ball last I think Kirbyville wins by 4 or less
 17. Kirbyvilles enrollment is actually just under 400 should be 2-A numbers next realignment
 18. Just to put my 2 cents in. In defense of the coaching staff you can count on one hand how many coaches are still there that were last year the rest is all new. Also Neece is following argueably the best coach Kirbyville has ever had in Alvarez and eventually Neece will be just as good. Kirbyville was left with one of the toughest preseason schedules in the state considering the way they beat everyone last year. In my statement to the players I would like to thank them for keeping there heads up and playing 4 quarters no matter what. Because as wildcat in pink said we will be there to support you we are not giving up on you guys. You guys continue you to give 100% and it will pay off good luck to you guys on the rest of the season. And Go Wildcats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 19. Newton vs. Kirbyville you never know!!! Newton by 20+
 20.
I for one will not make excuses for kirbyville! I feel that this year program will be a learning process for the young men and hope they will take advantage of this experience. Kirbyville will be better next year but this year is only a foundation to build on with the coaching staff and the young players. :P
Well put lobos

We are having to put together a rebuilt O line, due to the decision of some uperclassmen leaders who decided to leave, we have a quarterback who is in only his second start, a new backfield, ... These young men are working hard and will improve ... The defense has been fair, but is still working with a new secondary, new linebackers, and freshmen and sophomores playing an important roll ... I have said before..and I will say it again .... what you witnessed in the scrimmages is what it was ... Silsbee (a borderline 3A\4A school with double our student body), Ozan (triple our student body) facing a small 3A\2A school, with about 60 - 70 % of players who have never seen a snap on varsity. In case ya didn't notice ... some players played some on freshman and jv games before varsity scrimmage .. The coaches are working to see what they have ... these young men will fight through this ...
Why is it when a team is not very good the fans of that team automatically bring up the fact that they are a small school playing up in a division they shouldn't be in.. You sound like Buna a few years back when they were 3A and saying they couldn't compete because they were to small for 3A.. Kirbyville is just not any good this year has nothing to do with what classification they are in. Im sorry if that offends some people but Im just letting you know how the cow eats the cabbage.. For years Newton was one of the smallest 3A teams in the state and year in and year out we went out and compteted and never once did you hear the Newton fans moan and groan about how we can't win because we are to small we just had the the talent to compete and right now Kirbyville doesn't have that. Sorry if I hurt anyone feelings this is just how I feel.
EagleFan001 as bad as i hate to say it I agree with you on the size difference
Yes I have noticed the freshman and I'm not gonna argue about the size school difference with Ozen and Silsbee we scheduled them because we thought we could compete size of the student should not be an excuse considering we scheduled them and yes we will improve as the year progress's I truly believe that
