Andy Dewey went the distance for the win-pitching very well. If not for three ugly errors in the 5th he would have shut them out!

Frank Smesny started the game--was rocky but Dayton led 8-3 until an error filled 4th allowed Lumberton to take the lead. Matt Broyles pitched 2 innings. Andy Dewey Pitched the 7th and 8th to get the win. With 2 outs in the bottom of the eighth-aggressive base coaching caused a balk for the Dayton win.

If that 1% is your kid then that is to high.

Dayton beat Crosby 5-4. Andy Dewey went the distance to get the win. Travis Smesny hit a double to score the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Trey Buck pitched the 6th and 7th and took the loss.

Sterling beat Dayton 2-1. Dayton lead until the end when Sterling took the lead in an error filled inning. Dewey pitched very well--well enough to win. Dayton took the second game beating Alief 12-0. Frank Smesny went the distance giving up one hit.

Why was Roebuck gone?

Dayton also needs to get the bats going----we were no hit in the first game and only three in the NC game--I did not see game two but was told we hit pretty well in that one---defense was pretty solid as was agressive base running--there is work still to be done but we look to be pretty solid

I am the "kids" dad and for lack of a better word you are full of crap--of the two kids involved one-----------------------------------------------------------------ALL DISTRICT the other was ALL STATE and both made plays not only all night but all season---I hope to not pay for his college but will gladly do so if necessary and I find it interesting that you know what the head coach said--WERE YOU IN THE HUDDLE?
