The jv right now has not lost a game since peewee football. All the players are 15 and under. They are just very talented and people think when they are so good they must but varsity players. You guys will see the Varsity tomo, they are gonna do just like the JV did and beat Kirbyville by as much as they want. Newtons JV will not lose a game this year. And will look very good when they are seniors. Very athletic and fast group of kids!!!

yeah burkeville MIGHT have gained 20yards the whole scrimmage.

I wasnt to happy with the newton 1st string. The line is so small. Brent spikes did most of the work when he ran the ball. Kevin shorter had trouble because of no blocks. Dean did look good at QB when the line helped block a few seconds.

While i was at there practice Coach Dzuik was on phone with Buna and looking for more games not sure whats gonna happen. Gonna suck to jus play 6 or so games.  :-\

Watched them practice today, they will be rebuilding next few years.

Here is what i think. 1. Newton-Undefeated (in district) 2. Anahuac 3. EC 4. Buna/Woodville

Burkeville is still in rebuilding years and will be for awhile. ;)

They will have alot of power next year but if they play a team with speed, they WONT win. Yes they have a huge line and great coach, but you cant coach speed :) either you have it or you dont. ;D ;D
