Luckily for Burkeville the Evadale coaching staff has alot of class and won't allow this score to terribly out of hand.  I don't see Burkeville scoring against a really good Evadale defense, but hey stranger things have happened.  Good luck to all the players.

My gut says lovelady wins but my heart says WH will take this one in a close game.  The important thing for the Oilers this game is to not let lovelady's reputation beat you before the game starts.  You have to approach every game believing you can win.  Good luck Oilers.

And another point no matter how much HD wins by they will not get pushed around in district.  I think HD could have a bad game and still win this one without it effecting their play against other district opponents.

Hey HD 55 I agree with you I just see that HD has not faired well on the road this year, that was my only point.  Like I said hopefully they turn that around this week.  On paper this is a blowout but when those friday night lights come on its up to the players on the field.

I am just saying HD wins.  I do however think it will be closer than many think just because HD has not proven themselves on the road this year.  Hopefully this will be the game they turn that around.

We only talk all the crap because we are passionate fans.  You yourself predicted a 17 point victory and even with the stats the game wasnt over till the onside kick was recovered.  But like you said look forward to seeing yall next year.  I know I talked my share of crap, but truth be known I always had respect Deweyville from the early 90's when we were in the same district.  Yall always brought a tough team and it was a fun game.  Again Congrats on this one.

BigMO I hope the coaches can work something out in the near future where we could continue to play each other.  It was starting to build into a good rivalry game.  Good luck to your Rebels.

Not sure what comment yall want about over coming years of dominance and getting a win, but i will sum it up like this the numbers speak for themselves enjoy your victory see you next year.  There is really nothing else that can be said, its  not like this win erases all the losses of years gone by.  Yall played the better game on this Friday so congrats, but in the series HD still dominates.

Congrats Deweyville yall earned this one, what a good game.  Nothing better than Friday Nights wish I could have been there but had to settle for listening to this one.

The JV score doesn't have anything to do with the varsity.  At a 1A school you have more underclassmen playing varsity because of numbers. 

I think WH could pull out a win if they can play a good first half.  In all of their losses they have fell behind early, hopefully they can get that fixed.  I am not predicting a WH win but I know several players and coaches there, so I wish them the best.

SteelerCzy I agree with you that hopefully both teams leave healthy and ready for district play.  These games are fun but in the big picture don't mean much.  Good luck to both teams.  HD rolls 28-14.

Okay SteelerCzy what makes you think Deweyville is 17 points better than HD?  You seem to have something to say about every post that says HD wins, like its a crazy thought that Deweyville loses. 

Yes educated we must learn from history and history shows year in and year out when HD and Deweyville have played HD is better.

I am serious.  I think this will be a statement game for HD.  Would not be surprised at a 35-6 score but I am predicting 28-14.

I am with H-D Bobcat 55 no shut out for Deweyville this week.  I stand by my 28-14 and maybe bigger post.  I believe if HD cuts out turnovers this one could get ugly.

Maybe its just me but i think now is the time to congradulate Lovelady and let Hull-Daisetta know they had a good season and their fans are proud of them.  This argument of which district is better or worse, while your point may be valid, doesnt really matter hear.  If you would like you could make a new thread for that.  Just my opinion.

Good job Cats.  A loss is always hard to take but keep your heads up you fought to the end.  Remember over half of the schools in the state didnt even get to play this week.  Underclassman remember this feeling and use it for motivation for next season.  Seniors youve done the Red and Black proud, good luck in your futures.

HDBobcat9 I remember being in elementary and going to watch the games on friday nights.  Being young it was like watching professional football players, they seemed so big and almost famous at least in HD.  Your right losing to WH and Hardin was never acceptable. 

I knew the history of the win streak but this is the first time I have read about the game that ended it.  I still bleed red and black and love the cats.

Long time reader, first time poster.  Good luck Bobcats.  If you want to win this one, you will have to go out on the field and take it by force.  You can do it.  So many times a game is won or lost before it starts because one team come in with this reputation of being unbeatable and nerves drive the other teams to mistakes.  Remember they put their pants on one leg at a time just like you and they are a 1A team just like you, so go out relaxed and have fun remember this could be your last time to put the red and black on so enjoy it.
