1. Congrats to all. Anybody know when distict 22-2A selections come out
 2.
didnt they aready play a few weeks ago?
I thought he meant the all district selections from the 2 local 2A districts play. But hey Newton and K-ville again, I'm down.
 3. Runaway Ford spotted in Waco as Kirbyville wins "comfort"ably
 4. Just voted.  Great job Ford. Let's go CATS bring home that state title.
 5.

The day of the Kirbyville Newton Game they started parking cars at 10am (not a joke) and there were over 5000 tickets sold. Not a bad fan base for two little Texas towns. Both of these teams have fans that bleed school colors. Good luck Newton. Should someone organize a East Texas Bowl for New Years Day?
You got my vote for it!!!
You got my vote too, but it would have to be a very big venue.  Good idea though, I'm in.
 6. Good job young man.  Even more impressive to me is that he averages a first down per carry.  Hard to beat that.
 7. he did have a very good game defensively.  Didnt know he was hurt, if he was he showed great heart and OU got a hell of a young man.
 8. yeah, he is good. That was one heck of a ball game. a little nervous in the begining, but wow how about that defense. Holding an OU commit to 50yds, and OU doesn't just go after any kid off the street.  Great great job on both sides of the ball(except for a few turnovers in the begining).  Very bright future for the Cats as well, will be returning a lot of starters next year.
 9. where is this guy Arp Tiger who was talking so much noise? I told him Cooper wasn't even in the same ballpark as Ford at RB. If he had OU scouts there I bet they thought they went after the wrong kid.
 10.

K-Ville is pretty big and yes they are fast FORD Scores and Scores.
Man Sloe, this guy JJspeed8 is a joke. Kirbyville has mostly sophmores and juniors on their varsity squad this year and a very speedy JV team that had a fine season this year. Whats funny is that Arp have several returnees this year which I'm assuming thats why Dave Campbell picked them over Kirbyville and they just don't know whats fixing to happen!
they don't have a clue. That Ford kid is the real deal. Seen that first hand when we played yall
Just curious why do you think we don't have a clue? And Arp is not as loaded with seniors as you would think. I think if you look at Arp's team you will notice that next year looks really bright. Someone asked for Arp's stats so I will post them for you guys. points scored: 464 avg p/g 46.4 rushing 293 carries 2471 yards 8.43 per carry 247.1 per game receiving 83 rec 1357 yards 16.35 per catch Passing: Kyle Copeland QB 82-135 60% passing 1346 yards 15 TD's 2 ints 522 yards rushing** we didn't;t have this last year** QB rating is 128 (wow) Defensively 9 ints 12 fumble rec giving up only 9 points a game and less than 125 yards a game. No team has had more than 200 yards total against and 2 were held to neg yards rushing. SA common opponent and Palestine Westwood 3A. SA had 13 yards total and WW had 71 total. District champion Paul Pewitt was held to 104 yards total. Tatum to 126. Now Arp's schedule is the 28th ranked in 2A. Not at the top but no were near even the middle of 2A. Much less as some of you say at the bottom. It for sure isn't as strong of a schedule as Kirbyvilles but Arp dominated it non the less. Garrison and WestRusk I feel will win this weekend and WestRusk could be as good as any 3 round team out there. Garrison I think is way above avg but will face Daingerfield and hands down DF field one of the best 2A teams in Texas.
well here is a stat for you, the only 2A team to score an offensive touchdown on K-ville was #5 Newton...........by the way Cooper isnt even in the same ball park as Ford when it comes to carryeing the rock, another stat for you in one game Ford carries 7 times for i believe 167 and 4 TDs
 11. Randy Musgrove should play WR he has good speed, great hands and great leaping ability but he also has good coverage skills
