1.

Congrats Tigers! The Cardiac Jacks lived up to their name. Good luck in Austin!
Thank you, but this would have been much more sincere it written, "Congrats Tigers!  Good Luck in Austin!  The Cardiac Jacks lived up to their name."  But we get the gist. :)
Try your best to be gracious and magnanimous and you get pulled over by a piddling word Nazi. FYI: Although the word "if" only has two letters in it, one of them is not a "t".  You can confirm this fact in the "Piddling Word Nazi's Handbook" aka "Dictionary". As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroon." :)

3. This is a tragic and sad event. I have an old cowbell I ring at the games. When a kid goes down and leaves the game, I ring it extra loud for him. I doesn't make any difference to me what team he plays for or the colors he wears. I do it because I love these kids. Not one of them has any idea of how much pleasure they have given to me in the last 33 years I have been attending games. It truly breaks my heart to hear something like this. My road warrior friend and I pulled over when we heard this on the radio and said a prayer for Reggie and the boys all across America who play this game we (and they) love so much. More prayers to come from Diboll for Reggie, his family and all the people who's lives this young man touched.
4. By the way,Huntington is not a "small school". They are a pretty good sized 3A.
5. Well guess what folks? They work hard in Huntington too. While y'all are saying stuff like "What's wrong with Liberty?", you might ask "What's right in Huntington?" Those kids worked their butts off in summer workouts, averaging 60 kids a day! They have a good coach, a good RB, a good QB and they're playing better defense than ever before. I think you should give some credit were it's due. I'm not saying Huntington is "a force to be reckoned with", but they are a much improved team. Though their record doesn't show it, they have been improving for the last couple of years. One of Huntington's biggest problems is not the kids, but the adults. Half the town are "Old School Basketball Glory Days" people and the other half are "New School We Ain't All That Great In Basketball Anymore So Spend The Money On Football" people. If these two groups could learn to play nice, Huntington could have a great football team. Of course I am talking about a town that has two fire departments because the adults can't play nice. ::) All I'm saying is, don't knock the Huntington kids down just to prop Liberty up. Liberty got beat. Period.
6. Dang gal ! Are you ever going to get over this? Y'all beat the snot out of us a few weeks ago. Let it go mom, just let it go............ ;D
7. So you are saying that they will lose to Diboll...... : uuuummmmmm lets ask everyone else on here if they agree with you on that......... :
8. K'ville did everything right and the Jacks did most everything wrong. The 'Cats have a very good team but let's give credit where credit is due, please. The one thing the Jacks did do well was to shut down K'ville passing game. That's why they were running the ball so much. The Jacks pass defense was to much for them. In fact, the only pass they completed in the game was the trick play that went for a TD. The 'Cats had better work on their pass defense. Sooner or later you are going to get an officiating crew that knows what pass interference looks like and K'ville is going to have a long night. I cant believe what I just read! There are certain things you do not and can not brag about! When a team is beating you by thirty points after the first quarter and almost fifty at halftime and they quit throwing the ball and start handing the ball off to the four team runningbacks to keep from running the score up on you!!! you can not brag about shutting the passing game down. You mentioned give credit where credit is due right??? Well I cant!! If I got on here and said what really needs to be said about the way Diboll played it would hurt alot of kids feelings. I think that eveyone that was at the game and has commented on her about the game has been very generous to your program so I wouldnt push the issue. OK. You can't give credit for the Jacks playing good pass defense. That's cool. Then you must be willing to admit K'ville's passing game is all but non-existent. It's either one or the other. They tried the whole first quarter to throw the ball and when they couldn't (for whatever reason you choose to believe) they just decided to run the ball down our throat. And they did a good job of it. That doesn't change the fact that they had only one pass completion in the whole game.

11. This is exactly the point I made on the Newton/Diboll thread. The Eagles had the ball with 2:02 to go. They were driving. They were aided by a Lumberjack penalty. They had the game within reach. And then they choked. Plain and simple. Intercepted at the Lumberjack 27 yard line. End of story.Blaming the refs only belittles the effort put out by both teams. I could have come on here belly-aching the same way about the Diboll/Kirbyville game. Terrible officiating in that one on both sides ( just like the Newton game). But you know what? Kville won. Plain and simple. Diboll dropped four easy catches in that game that would have been TD's. IF they had caught just two of them, we would have won. IF they had caught just one and IF they had not given up a safety, they would have won. IF they would have tackled better they would have won. My Grandpa used to say,"IF grasshoppers carried .45's, bluejays wouldn't eat 'em for breakfast". Diboll beat Newton. Get over it. Now I'll let y'all get back to your Waa-burgers and french cries.
12. And don't forget ballwatch, with 2:02 to go and the game easily within reach, it was the official that intercepted the final Newton pass to ice the game. And to the person who said the officials moved the ball for Diboll all night, 6 of Newton's 1st downs came from calls against the Lumberjacks.
