Not any more. Starting a couple of years ago, UIL is choosing 3 man crews from chapters. Now, crews work the tourney, not individuals. In regards to the question, I know that Kelly, Mike and Booker were to be calling games at the state tourney but I thought it was for the boys, not girls.
I think you are right, a coaching buddy of mine said that they were working the boy's tournament. I don't know if the Beaumont UIL made the girl's tourney or not. That might be who Poker Star saw. ???

I have been gone on business and away from the computer..But here Goes! 1)  I have never ejected a coach.  I have only given 5 tees to coaches in 17 years....Am I proud of that ....Not really..just always thought if i had to tee a coach up I probably did something to trigger it.... 2)  AS FAR AS MISSING CALLS....every official has good and bad nights..I am no different...I will say I have never called a perfect game...no one has ...I think I get about 90 per cent correct 3)  WORST GAME-BOYS HAMSHIRE-F VS HUFFMAN....The kids were ugly to each other...we could not get anything right...which made the kids more hostile..just a tough game..BOTTOM LINE...I take the blame for the kids being bad, because my partner and I were out of sinc. 4) TOP FIVE BEST HOSPITALITY ROOMS FOR TOURNAMENTS     1....west hardin....best gumbo in southeast texas     2....orangefield.....best gumbo in orange county     3.....Evadale.........best homemade goodies     4......Nederland.....excellent bar-b-que     5......memorial....great ribs thanks for the questions!!!! i hope I have provided some insight
Don't discount the Kountze - EC game in the Montagne Center!!!!!! I think we ordered the Hardin County sherriff's dept. to deny you access to the town of Kountze for a year or two after that game.
 5.
Coach Mangan was informed on Friday, Feb. 5th, by Superintendent Elliott that his services were no longer needed. Coach Mangan told a few of the parents this himself at the final middle school basketball games. His release does not become official until the next school board meeting which I believe is on the 22nd. Coach Mangan does have one year left on his contract and I believe he has offered to stay for the remainder of that contract in whatever capacity they can use him. This coach did do some good things here at HF. The total number of students participating in athletics is up since he started, just not in football. We have a no one gets cut policy, so anyone can participate. Coach's attitude toward discipline is at times a little over the top. While some athletes thrive on it, some of the athletes can not handle it. We all know that kids today are not like we were. The coach was always right and our parents told us to keep our mouths shut and stick it out. In our permissive society, it doesn't work that way. While the total number of participants are up, a lot of "athletes" chose not to play directly under him. And althoug I don't necessarily agree, I believe this led to his ouster.
I think he was a good guy....just in a tough school
Why you gotta be a Smart A@@, just thought it would be convenient.  There is always got to be one.  You never know they might like that, unless of course you already know them so well you know what they would and would not like.
Have you seen the gas prices lately?????? lol
Actually.....................I haven't replied because the rankings are just now being finished....I wont put them on this site, but you can go and look at them on our website next week.........YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED WHO IS IN THE TOP FIVE!.....Hey man what is your beef?  Who in this chapter ever did anything to make you so angry?....
I'm not angry, just stating the cold hard facts. I finally got to look at your top five. Sorry, I was dead on the money. 1-Garrett,2-Guidry,3-Abernathy,4-Hines, 5-Kenny Jones. So what part of the"new & improved" board ratings should I be surprised with. You're a little testy yourself, though.

I haven't seen EC play yet this year, but from what I hear EC shouldn't have a problem.. But they need to play every game from now on like its a playoff game to prepare them for the playoffs.
True that buc.
