Radierfan, If this is just going to be a Glorified Scrimmage then why does Lumberton need to play Beard?? Let him rest and be ready for the playoffs. After the beating Nederland took from Lumberton last year, I bet Nederland does not approach this as a Scrimmage!!

Best hits I've seen in person were on back-to-back plays. In the 2000 Nederland vs. Dayton game. Nederland intercepted the ball and ran it back for a TD. During the run back Ryan Pilitre(sp?), DB, layed out a Dayton WR that had to be carted off the field and taken away in an ambulance. The first play after the kick-off, Pilitre laid out another Dayton WR that was taken away in an ambulance. Two very hard but clean hits. Both of the WRs ended up being ok.

Central scares me!!! We(nederland) have never been able to stop teams with a mobile QB. I went to the WB-Central game and seem to remember the QB being able to run. Nederland might have a long night trying to contain him.

I believe the top four enrollment wise are: 1. Central 2. Nederland 3. PND 4. Vidor The crazy thing is that I believe these will be the four playoff reps from 20-4A and probably in this order.

If I'm not mistaken, Mosley got hurt in the Vidor game and only played a couple (if not just one) series in the Central game. Had he of been heathly, he would have had more against yards central.

I think Grogan is good and will only get better, but there is no comparing him to Mosley at this point. Mosley did it all. You could give the ball to him 35 times a game and you could still expect him to play some on the defensive side of the ball. He was a great pass cather as well and could play any position on the field!!! PS: I bet I know who PATitan thinks is better!!!

Apparently you thought Ozen's Defense was good enough to stop Nederland's running game. Now you are saying that Grogan has not proved anything. He did prove something. He proved you wrong!!!

Man Nederland's non-district schedule is a lot tougher than I originally thought. WOS- great team as always Waller- beat up on LaMarque last week Friendswood- spanked Dayton!!! I hope we will be 2-1 once district starts, but we might be 0-3 unless the D can turn things around.

What's wrong with the baseball field? Didn't it get MAJOR upgrades after Rita (new press box, new stands with a very nice "roof", new brick backstop, new fence, new batting cages). Now, would I support even more upgrades to the field itself, sure I would. I would even be in favor of giving the coach a raise!
