SFA you really show how much you don't know or how much you hate MC when say stuff like. Nederland has always played solid opponents in non district games, LaMarque, Brenham, Waller, Texas City, Westbrook, Angleton. It was Stump who went after bigger fish and you can't blame him for that, he needed to if he was going compete with the top 5a programs, Neumann needs to prepare for the top 4a schools and that is what he does. Nederland is having spring training this year and next year to get ready for the 2010 season when they will scrimmage Lufkin, open up against Katy, then North Shore, Plano, Everman, and Westfield all on the road, has nothing to do having alot of young tallent.

Memorial needs to run a pro style offense with the "I" formation being the base formation and building from there. One year your strengths might be in your running game and the next you might have a blue chip QB who carry more load, but it is very versatile offense. You can run between the tackles, play action pass, bootleg passes, reverses, motion, counters, you can do it all, PA MEMORIAL is a North Shore waiting to happen, I know Memorial has 200lb fullbacks on campass and a 6'4"tight end somewhere, and defense should never be a weakness. They may not win state titles every year but they should go 3 or 4 rounds deep every year with the right head coach, Hopefully Boutte can bring the leadership, respect and pride back to PA, they need it, to much tallent not being used in football and basketball.

I thought the 10:00 news said Thompson was staying on as AD and Boutte was Associate AD or something like that, maybe I misunderstood or that was until Boutte arrives. If Boutte is AD is he also the basketball coach or will he just be the AD.

Charges should have been filed, and if the player is an underclassman should not be allowed to play next year, at all. Hard to believe you don't realize this is on film, before you act out.

At WB he is not the AD, at png he would be and that's not a step back. For you who say you can't win a state title at png, your crazy. For those who say they wish stump would leave WB, I wish he would and ya'll could go back to losing to mid county like you did before Stump got to WB. I agree it's unlikely he would go to png, but why did he leave the SEC for texas high school football to begin with ? If I was on the png board I would invite him to apply and see what happen's, I would think his salary would need to be about 90-95k a year, is that more than he makes at WB, If so he might leave.

Both defenses came to play, Lumberton's defense was well coached as was Nederland's, Super job done by both Danny and Troy.

I haven't heard much talk about Craig Stump for the PNG job. I think Coach Stump would be qualified as for as coaching , don't know if he has a masters, but he is a darn good coach. I'm not sure what he makes at BISD as HC, but your one of 3 head coaches, at png he would be AD as well as HC. He knows what kind of following png has, plus the accomadations, also chance to run your show top to bottom. I'm from

Congrats to Lumberton Senior White on taking out WO Senior Blue 21-7, great game plan and execution. Nederland Senior Black won 30 - 0 over Nederland White in a game that was much closer than the score would indicate, hard fought game from both sides. Both #1 seeds lost. You might see some defensive stats in the last 2 or 3 seasons that aren't that good, but I don't think you want to look back over the last 10 years, if you do you will see some outstanding defenses, from 97 to 2004 we played good defense, Several years as #1 in district, 04 was the last year we had the #1 defense in the district. 2000 was the best defense I've ever seen at Nederland, although my favorite was 04, no shock their.

I'll bet Matt doesn't hang around to deal with kids skipping school. Someone Will buy out his contract and he will move on, school's create these positions because if you already owe the money(another years contract) you might as well have someone helping out. PNG is not conroe isd, galena park isd or beaumont isd where you have multiple high school's, the new head coach will be the new AD and when Matt's year is up, if not sooner, he will not be the outdoor athletic complex supervisor/truancy officer or whatever they called it. Matt will land on his feet somewhere as a high school head coach or defensive coordinator, might be good assistant at Lamar, probably a good recruiter. Matt is a really good guy and I hate to see him go.

He is not really giving away any real strategy, just saying they squat down behind the center and it's hard to figure out who has the ball. That's like saying we run the I formation and try to get the ball to our tailback, besides if your still playing there is a good chance you already know what style of offense your opponent will be running, but can you stop it. Even in high school they trade films with each other so your opponent can see what you have done the last two games and prepare to defend it or attack it.
