Easy Big Stick. No one is saying select is the only way to go. Some high schools have a pretty good relationship with many college programs and those scouts keep in contact. Select groups do the same thing by going to tournaments that the scouts are watching. As a parent, have your son (not you) contact the school he would like to go to and send DVDs of him pitching to the coaches.Tell them about the injury, the repair, rehab, grades, character....... There are a ton of JUCO,s and NAIA programs with more scholarships than D-1s. Go on their websites and fill out the player prospect questionaires. They will invite you to open tryouts during one of their camps. Bottom line is, if HE wants to play HE will find a way. Check out Northwood University just as an example. Good luck  [Hidden Content]

Chip, I remember the answer you gave me when I asked you what you get out of this. You said," one day one of these young men will look at a camera and say hi Chip. or I bump into one of these guys in an airport many years later on his way on a business trip and he says thank you for allowing me to play at such a competitive level that it helped mold me into the professional that i am today." We appreciate what your organazation has done for our son.

Just refering to the travel miles for the team and fans. You guys need some host homes. I hope for the best for your team.

LCM in OT

Any info on Kingwood Park. This is there 4th year. I hear they might be salty.

At LCM, Im sure the seed that is in the ground will produce a good crop. Some good dirt over at LCM. Lets see how the farmers work it. The last couple of times that the fields were turned over, it was a good harvest. Translated/ They are young. Deep talent pool. Same program. LCM seems to come back pretty strong after a big group leaves. Good luck bears.
