Hey guys, it's been quite the week....My oldest plays at WB, my middle son is an upcomming stud in the cross country program at WB(soph running with the top five), and I'm coaching my 8 yr old in his first year in full pads(QB)....3 boys, and we're 1 month away from our 1st girl (she's gonna make a great QB)...I'm moving my company....wow....let me catch my ' breff '...it's a lot of work chasing these boys around and operating a company... :'( :'(, :D....and you have to show your face at every practice...atleast for us... N E Way...our mental errors killed us, but it's part of the game...I'm just wondering how much of a distraction it's going to be this week...you know DQ game of the week, homecomming, the beaumont surprise is there all week.... girls and whatever else ca distract the boys....

We have voters from all areas that have seen several teams. Also, Westbrook is no. 2 in the rankings because they lost to a very good Wesfield team that are historically good. They would mop the floor with any of the big school teams on the list with very little effort... Maybe Westbrook and PA should move into 20-4A....this way it would make it easier on the Polls... : :

I hope Keantray Batiste plays this week in JJ's place, he hits just as hard if not harder and covers well....this way J wil can go back to corner.

I got to see Ike in the scrimmage Central didn't have against La Marque....their nose tackle is their best player...he's very quick...we may have to play outside the pocket unless we get our O-line all back...I do feel it will be a dog fight...."The Kings of Beaumont" stop "The Kings of Aldine"....we've seen an "IKE" before...

I agree...this is the week we make our biggest improvement....we'll be ready for IKE...all aspects of the game come together this week...I think the game is suppose to be the "Spot light game of the week" or Dairy Queen game of the week...some trash like that...it doesn't matter...Bruins win this one!!

Who was at the game??? We had 1 out 5 of our O-Line starters...we still ran the ball...if your looking at the Beaumont's surprise stats on the ground...who ever was there saw Coop run the ball (Beaumont Surprise marked nothing)...for some strange reason the QB scored on runs of 65 yds and 19 yds(rushed about 10-13 times that evening, was sacked 2 or 3 times....for a total loss of nearly 100 yds (WT$F?)...that made our offense look bad...I don't know who all from this thread was at the game(I KNOW OUR BAND, CHEERLEADERS, AND DRILL TEAM WERE MIA)...GEES WE HAD TO LISTEN TO WESTFIELD FREAKIN CLICKER!! I guess there band don't know how to keep a beat...Anyway, we got our rear handed to us...I wish it could have happened with our starting O line....our secondary just blew out our rears...with one DB missing...we played like we were missing all our secondary....We better put it back together this week or else I'll call coach stump and we'll protest to start midnight practices M-Thurs!!! :D

3 OL-starters are out with the flu....plus a DB(ACL) & WR(flu)...hopefully the wet balls will even things out...

Nicely Wrote..From what i hear My Nephew told me that they've been through every snapper this week..so this should get better,,Other than that your Accurate on all points..And the Secondary Should get better these are all 1st time starters so just a few early season Jitters.. And your right..This years Defense Brings the Hat HARD ..Cant wait for the Vidor, Central Game Thats good to here...I hope Central puts it on them!!

Westfield JV- 29 WB JV - 8 What a game... 8 - 7 WB with 3 or 4 minutes before the 4th Qtr....one kid(WB) tried to fied a punt and went through his arms, the ball gets kicked back even further is recovered by Westfield..TD, 4th qtr , then on the kick off, the same thing happens...safety... kick off..they ate some clock...TD...then the subs from both teams came in and they scored once more...we didn't finish the game...there was no over powering from Westfield....that's just the way the game went...they are kinda...IDK the word...undiciplined ...

You don't know who is D1 or D2 until the playoffs. The largest school in the district that MAKES the PLAYOFFS is D1. Correction, the TWO largest schools out of the four that qualify for the playoffs, go Div. I. Correction to the correction....D1 and D2 is based on #of students...or you can request to move up during realignment and for the 5A it is the way the play offs are determined....can I get another correction?

I'd go OZEN and the other game is a toss up...Nimitz usually has a good program, I think there a D1 5A...so it will be close....I'd go with the Home field advantage on that one.

Well..hmm don't know what to say to that...I played football till I was 27....hmmm..and that was about ten years ago..... all I can say Goat is: B-a-a-a-a....B-a-a-a-a..
