Sounds like Coach isn't going to put up with any "super-star" egos or "I'm too good to have to run laps" BS. From what I've heard and read so far he is definitely TEAM focused which I think may be the shot in the arm that PNG needs to succeed. nm....no point even addressing your crap.

When you look at the resume he was the best candidate for the tax payers money. This guy is going to be good for us. You have a piss poor outlook on everything PN-G. How about doing all us fans a favor and staying off these threads. Different strokes for different folks I guess. For every poster that can read these threads and move on, there is always one (usually non-fan of discussed school) who has to try and deflate whatever excitement they have built. A good friend of mine's brother and Chuck are close friends. I was told it was more him helping some kids that were not from the best situations. If he knew it would get him in trouble he would not have done it.

I was told by a friend that when he went from Trinity to Central Oklahoma he had some players transfer. He housed the players and they were given school paid for medical treatment before they were enrolled / signed. Supposedly he did not know it was a violation. A few years later an assistant he fired turned him in. He was suspended for two games and had to take a NCAA rules course (or something like that). Basically (from what I was told, which I know is only one side) he was only trying to help some kids in need and did not know he was violating the rules. Again, this did not come from Chuck directly to me, so no need to bash either of us if someone knows different.
