Sometimes there are reasons other than money. Situations and circumstances change in all communities. I believe PNG's offer will be a little less but not much. ding, ding ding. That is one issue. But not the only one.

There is no mystery applicant. There was a group of folks in the community trying to convince Stump to apply. It aint happening. Danaher is the right man for the job. I think he still has 10 years left and we currently have some good young coaches who could learn a great bit from him. But why? He has a winning program at CCC. Has his system in place. Guys in their 60s just don't up and move and "start over." This makes no sense. I am not saying he will get the job, but I can promise you the interest is genuine.

Are you consulted by every public entity you pay taxes to? Are you provided a list of items everytime an agenda is set? Do you get a list from the government of all the choices they have for every project they are going to spend you tax dollars on? The reason I said hater is because he accused the school of having a history of underhanded dealings without providing ONE example. Making accusations without backing them up is BS.

Not this poster Steven. I'm sure you're ready for this to end.... I asked this question on another thread and didn't get an answer...maybe you can answer it. Let's say PNG hires a coach this weekend...Will the admin still have to release the list even after a coach has been hired? I would think so. The FOI probably has no limitations, so even if they hire someone they are probably still bound to follow through with providing the list.

I highly doubt that. If that was the case why would they even interview the five finalist. Why wouldn't they just hire this coach? On top of that, the interviews have never even been made official by PNGISD. That is all message board / blog chatter. I highly doubt PNGISD is interviewing five candidates over the course of today and tomorrow at the direction of some coach who is calling all the shots. WHAT IS SEEING THE LIST GOING TO PROVE? PNGISD is going to hire the best candidate. This round table discussion is not going to amount to anything more than a chance for the media members to ridicule and bash PNGISD. Let's just hope they got ALL their facts straight before they start ripping them. A lot of credibility can be lost quickly airing out dirty laundry that is fabricated and not based in fact.

Cardinal Supporter, You seem to be implying that no one should care whether or not PNG's school board is abiding by the law because they are doing what they think is best. Is this really what you meant to say? PNG is abiding by the law. Please explain to us how they aren't. You are asking people to answer a question they can't.

\ Yes, I Get it, you want to skirt the law. If it was a physics teacher list, PNG would turn it over in a heart-beat. The laws that are in place are the reason PNGISD is able to do this. All they are skirting is the desire for some of the public to see the list. I can promise you the majority of PNGISD residents could care less. It is the outsiders making the big deal.

What good is a group of media people, who are pissed they don't have the list, going to achieve by having a round table discussion? Are they going to tell us something we do not already know? Are is the point of it to paint PNGISD as the devil?

The list is like the piece of candy you wanted as a kid. Do you need it? No. But you damn sure are going to cry about it until you get it.
