The schedule says 1:00 at Deweyville....that would be JV first then varsity.

What an awesome game! I just wish the officials would have called a fair game...the girls deserved it!

Deweyville is too low on the list! I think they will surprise a lot of doubters!!

WOOHOO! Go Lady Pirates! Deweyville looks great so far! They have much more speed than last year! This will help them go much further too. Free throw percentages were awesome...keep working together girls!!  ;D

Hardin was not impressive last year and I seriously doubt they can beat EC! There's  lots of competition coming this year! It should be exciting!!

I'm not gonna say D'ville will win district...but they will definately give em' more of a fight.....All I can say to EC is that if you're good, there's no need to brag....people can see...that's what I tell my own! I'm just ready for some hoop action! [move]GO BIG RED!!![/move]

That will have to come from the coach....they have several this year that can contribute to the board and that is what they need in order to compete! I'm telling you this will be a different, more competitive group of girls!

She is a classy lady and was a great ball player! I know she will do a great job!!

Not sure who the new coach is, but I think Buna had a good team last year and will have a good one this year too if this new coach will not allow them to play dirty ball. Buna could have gone much farther IMO if they would have not let their tempers get the best of them. The coach can control that. Good luck this year! Can't wait for the season to begin! ;D

Thanks Slam14....I am proud to say that sophmore's name is Marley Moss! She eats, breathes, and sleeps this game!! Can't keep a decent net at the house!

I think Deweyville will come out this year and surprise a lot of people. They will have a point guard that will be hard to stop...there will also be several new additions that will help the Lady's out tremendously on the board! Don't underestimate them just yet...it will be a totally different team! Come see!!

My daughter wants to play AAU basketball...but can't find a local team....ANYBODY know of any? She has had calls from Houston teams but that's just too far...please help!!!

Is there a local AAU girl's basketball team? How does one go about getting on a team? Who can we contact?
