Oh there will be plenty to talk about, just on a different thread! BH 24 dogs 14
Don't hate cause they gonna get some more of your girls in the years to come ;)
Wonder if they will be approved to play varsity????? ;)
Whats the story here?  Ozen pick up some ringers this year?

 4. Lumberton's LB's are solid and gave us problems all night.  Also, Lum missed a few open passes. They ain't bad though. Gonna win some games.  I think we just wore the Lum D down over the course the game and BH D looked very good.  Concerned about how we will do against a good spread/throwing offense though.  Good job overall Eagles!
 5. Gametime and Lum band and many fans not here yet. Heard there was wreck on I10. BH wins toss and defers.
 6.

Man if lumberton wins this game it will be quiet on the tread for about 3 days.
It will not be a shocker to me! Lumberton is still a good team they lost to a much improved Jasper team and put the ball on the ground 7 times!Lumberton also beat us last year! BH on the other hand had a blow out against a very weak Santa Fe team and a very week 5A Pasadena Memorial team in a scrimmage. Although I think BH is much improved I'm waiting till they get fully tested before I crown them unbeatable  ;D Now I hoping that Pasadena Memorial and Santa Fe Pick up some wins and are better than we made them look ;D Memorial actually lost to Clear Creak 30-13 in week Zero
..and Santa Fe defeated Brazosport 10-0 last night

Texas Bob listed the old at 5500.  With that and the new turf, it should be a lot more attractive as a playoff venue now.
The only drawback is parking and limited entrances and exits from the facility. Other than that, the new turf looks great.
There are secret ways to get out, we just don't share them with visitors  ;D  Seriously though, Perry Rd which runs on the North end of the stadium is going to be extended all the way East to 565, both to link the school to property it purchased on 565 (for future campus) and to relieve congestion on Eagle Dr.  It just occurred to me that it will be perfect for GT teams leaving after their loss to get to I-10 next year  ;)

 9.
This is my 1st post ya'll. I have been reading for a couple of years. Barbers Hill will probably not score the huge number of points ya'll are predicting against Lumberton. They are a ball control offense that eats up the clock and trys to keep the ball away from the other team. Our defense is stout this year and Lumberton won't  have much time with the ball. I predict 21-7 BH.
Welcome to the nuthouse bh15. Good first post!
 10. Sorry I missed this (posted here) till now.  Giant congrats to you Kimber! You are one of the most hard working, intelligent, team players I have ever been around, much less have the opportunity to coach.  I have so many great memories of coaching BH Blitz with your Dad and you providing, not just great play, but lots of laughs and positive attitude. Thank you for that. The Lady Bobcats are getting a gem!
 11. BH Fans - There is a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new field planned (weather permitting) right before kick-off, so get there in time to see that! Pretty impressive that the bond was passed in May and the work completed before the first game. BH 28 Lum 14
 12. Anyone have details on the Beaumont fall league(s)? When it starts, where, who's in?

 14.
I told ya'll Santa Fe has nothing. Good win BH
Yeah ya did Scalp'em...good scouting report.  What I saw in the scrimmage last week against Pas Mem must have repeated tonight.  BH offense perfomed with machine precision and D was solid. I think Gage has his "system" clicking now.  Going to be an interesting year...GO EAGLES...
 15.
A BH player just posted on Facebook that they were winning 28-0. Must be going ok.
Ya know its a boring game when a player is posting to facebook during the game..  ;D
 16. Sorry J.  In late from biz travel so waitin on updates like you! At least I got to exp my first earthquake in DC this week but rather have seen the Eagles.  Jus got txt it was 28-0!
 17. BH 1st offense scores on 3 of 4 possessions. Pasadena only had about 3 first downs.  BH looked much sharper on both sides of ball but Pasadena is not impressive.
 18.
Maybe the parents just want to watch their kids....ever think about that?
out on the practice field...seriously?
 19. Way to go AJ!!  They are getting a great kid and rocket speed!  Congrats
 20. 85 yd field goal?!  too bad it was scrimmage or that would be one for the record books LOL
 21. Huffman is getting a good one, Townley has a great arm is well suited for the spread offense.  Just not a great fit for the BH scheme.  Good luck to him and Huffman!
 22. hey coach...thanks for the info!  very busy summer here with lots of AAU ball travel, ready for High School ball now.  See ya in the gym around Christmas!
 23. I did it for 4 years in High School and remember it well.  Not fondly, but well!  My dad coached for 25 years and he told me that the only problems he ever saw was with kids who had some ailment like a bad cold, stomach virus etc that tried to "gut it out".  If you are are not 100% you need to tell the coach, otherwise it should be fine.  Coaches are MUCH better informed now about hydration than many years ago when they handed out salt tablets and said "get tough" as you drank from a sprinkler head. And I promise you, it is no hotter now than it was 20 years ago.  I hated the early morning practices more than the afternoon...having to lay down in the dewy grass to stretch was miserable, plus the no wind, high humidity mornings sucked the life out of you.  At BH we practiced right next to a rice field and the mosquitos were were worse than the heat!
 24.
The mile?? Why?? Let me know the next time a football player runs 1760 yards in a game at once. That'll be one heckava highlight.
Its not about the mile...its about HEART, DEDICATION and PREPARATION...wow   I may have to become a little bit of a Cubs fan...good stuff Brenham Fan, thanks.
