who cares how anybodys scrimmages turned out last year. lets compare seasons....

Coach Managan was a first year coach last year for HF. Coach Prices is one of the best coaches in the area. His first year in 4A he brought Barbers Hill to a undefeated regular season and almost beat a talented Central team in the playoffs. And as for disrespect, You troll enough threads on here and everytime its "they suck" "this guy is horrible" and blah blah blah. so im guessing your suppose to graduate in 2010 and you need some mature.

hmmmm have you seen any of these teams? I would guess you have seen HF bc they played EC last year but a year of growth is a big deal with the right offseason program and from what I hear Coach Mangan is getting them going. Coach Price's offseason program at BH is tremedous. So unlike you Im not gonna look down on the teams on our schdule. How old are you anyways? should be a good predistrict for Lumberton. Dayton will be a great scrimmage bc they are so displined and have very good athletes. BH are returning alot of players from a team that was a forward lateral away from going to the playoffs. HF are returning alot of players from a team that almost made the playoffs and Silsbee is loaded next year returning some of the best athletes in the area. their team was extremely young and talented last year and Its always exciting when Lumberton and silsbee get together. and I dont think Lumberton will be a one year wonder considering Lumbertons lower levels started and contined winning with this last senior class. We our returning most of our OL including 6'6" 280 Hunter Howden All-Dist. Kyle Gilliam 6'2" 260 Honorable Mention All-State and Matt Burkhalter 5'9" 240 (played some Tightend also last season). The Backfield will once again be a strength with Jacob Hanna 6' 215, Anthony Beard 6'1" 220 and Soph Ryan Asher 5'9" 180. WR brings back Taylor Granato 6'1" 160 and Trace Freeman 6'2" 170. QB is gonna be between talented Sophmore Ryan Hughes and lasts years back up Kendall Duvall.

They need to compare the hours coaches work compared to what they make also. I think teachers work hard also but coaches teach class then stay up at the school till 8pm at night on none game nights and spend their Saturdays and Sundays gameplaning for the next week.

Matt Burkhalter 5'9" 240. 2 RB Anthony Beard avg 8 ypc, Jacob Hanna 7 ypc. 1 WR who was a Starter till he got hurt and missed the whole season. Taylor Granato 6'1" 160 1 TD rec and second in cut blocks and only played 4 games on Defense we return 3 DL and our MLB. DE Jacob Hanna 5'11" 210. 19 TFL 6 sacks Second team all-dist. DE Kendall Duvall 5'11" 205. 4 sacks honorable mention all-dist. Mark Murrill 6'2" 255. not sure on stats, honorable mention all-dist. MLB Anthony Beard 6'1" 215. 110 tackles 14 TFL 4 sacks 2 INTs. 1st team all-dist, 1st team Beaumont Gold Super Team. Honorable Mention All-State JV was 7-2-1 Fresh was 5-2-2 7th Grade went undefeated and avged over 30 points a game. gave up 6 a game we're gonna be ok next year.

Vidor scored 14 on WOS earlier in the season. LCM score 13 i think so why arent yall hammering them too? Lumbertons starters were coming out of the game 20 mins in. JV players were brought up and played alot. Defenders played forward. If Lumberton played the starters the whole game then I would have understood but the coaches even told them to quit scoring after awhile but sorry for those of yall this isnt rec ball anymore I know everyone here wants everyone to be happy and paddy cake with each other but I'm sorry its not gonna happen. Why would u put all your back ups and seniors in who never get to play and tell them not to play your style of soccer.

Ozen your nephew isnt a bad player and hes a very good athlete. He is a natrual outside LB or maybe even a Will depending on the scheme but he would have a hard time being a Mike. Buc I'm sure paul trammel is a good 2A football player but he played guard on offense. If yall had Beard yall would have went a few rounds deeper in the playoffs. Beard played Mike for us and was what made us go on D. He also returned punts, kicks and played RB for us and he only got better as the season went. against BC he has 4 carries for 89 yards and 2 TDs. Nederland he had 10 for 80 1TD. Ozen he had 1 for 18 and that run will be on his highlight tape bc he carries Ozens Defense. He had 110 tackles 14 TFL 4sacks and 2ints and didnt play in the 2nd half in the first 3 games and also rested some bc he helped us on O alot. against New Caney they had -17 yards in the first half bc Jacob Hanna and Ward lived in the backfield so he didnt have many tackles bc he had 4 carries for 50 yards and a 30 yard TD run so he didnt play much D that game. now you can say what you want about Lumberton's past but last year we were pretty dang good and so was Beard
