in the 4A-5A underclassmen game Corbin Bell got the win and the save throwing a total of 4 innings 3Ks 0BB 1hit and 0ER. he started the game and threw 3 and then was brought back in in the 9th

They must be Lucky to win the Big 12, Big 12 tounry, Austin Regional, Austin Super Regional and are 3-0 while beating 16-0 Leake twice during the college world series twice. BTW whens the last time you hit a lucky homerun?

You realize the kid has played on the select circuit against alot of the top players in the country already? and if he has a major injury where he cant play again then he will get his degree and move on but im pretty sure he already has an insurance policy for that. All the top athletes have them now so if they get hurt they still get a nice chunk of change. The guy who is advising him his Boras and has told him to go overseas for a year and then become a free agent. They sign at 16 there and get big money. This kid is not gonna get any better playing against highschoolers. And he wont be going against Major League Pitching at 17. He will be groomed like everyone else and go Rookie/A/High A etc etc etc and if hes not good enough then im sure he will take all that money that he has and get his degree and enjoy a nice life.

the kid is getting his GED and then going to a Juco for a year. Anyone saying they would wait 2 years for 20mil is just lieing

this kid is about to make millions. hes not gonna get any better in high school and hes gonna get a year of college which he wouldnt have gotten anyways. any of you would have done the same if the opportunity was there

Central has alot of question marks. Last time they lost a good coach they went in the tank and they are only returning 3 starters. etbu- Hanna graduated and signed with West Texas aTm

Lumberton will have to have their OL have a good summer but QB and WR should be strong spots. RB will be ok but not near as good as the last 2 seasons. Defensively they could be better than the last 2 years depending on Beard. But the entire secondary is coming back except for Granato. The DL looks to possiblly be as good if not better than last season. Sean Sparks, James Richardson and Mason Archer could be really really good.

If Central is only returning 3 players and losing their HC then I dont see them making the playoffs. Jacoby Hale should be good though.

guys this isnt the best football player. This is the best ATHLETE to play football. State Title Ring doesnt make you a great athlete. Thats like saying nikes make u jump higher and run faster.

very good debate and just because a guy is really good at track doesnt make him a great athlete. dont get me wrong Ivory Williams was a great athlete but Jamal Charles was a fantastic track guy and football player. Christian Micheal needs to be on the list. Brandon Williams, Cody Green, R. Morris from Ozen??? what was his name. that guy was so explosive. hmmm Derek Hall. The guy who played running back from Central and also won the Triple Jump and ran on the spring relay David Dixon!!! that guy was 220+ and you track guys know you have to be a good and explosive athlete to do that.

Ive met Darin Smith in person and would love him on my team but Gayron Allen was much bigger but was alot better. He started for OU one year and played alot 2 years before that.

AJ25 I understand what your saying because you are right to a certain extent but Lumberton wasnt always full of displine hard working kids. They bought into a program and have been succuessful because of it but the rest of the community has to buy into the program for it to take the next step. Dayton guy I understand what your saying and you help me with my point on wanting to be at a program with talented kids. If you get discipline, structure and hard work out of any kid your gonna be successful to a certain extent but the more talent you have the farther you are able to go. PNG go to a State Title game because of a D1 QB and good players around him. Dayton had some very talented kids along with 2 D1 guys Cody Green and AJ Dugat. If you look at the programs at the top of the heap every year they are usually gonna have a good deal of talent to work with and they work hard and are very disciplined.
