lol MLB huh?? #butthurt ....   Baseball or not, Texas just doesn't have anything to offer outside of guaranteed starting positions right now...which cripples competition on the team and undervalues the veterans.  In Kyler's case, I'm sure he was offered the starting job...however, there wouldn't be any weapons in his arsenal...at least unproven at this point anyway.  It's really a no brainer right now...

Strong doesn't believe in gadgets (ie:swagcopter), but I would classify or categorize offering coaching jobs to those coaches of potential recruits as the same thing...yes I know it's gone on for years at other schools, it's just funny that UT is grasping for straws.  Entitlement works in mysterious ways...

Of course Texas will get back to winning, I never expected them not to; however, total dominance of the state will never happen again...

We'll see what he brings to the table after redshirting this past season...will have a chance to compete that's for sure!

Aces-full seems to forget that it wasn't but 5 years ago TAMU was taking all the scraps from UT and OU when it came to recruiting.  Times have changed now, the recruits are there and more are coming...   Coaching is and has been the problem the last 2 seasons for the Aggies....jury is still out on Strong and his horns, but I think they'll win less games next season based on their schedule...

Sumlin's offensive product is fine...he's just never had a defense to match.  However, I think it's obvious Kevin is eager to remedy that problem.  Let's face the facts here though, if Chavis doesn't work out Sumlin is out.  All signs point to an improvement here as the defense can't get any worse.   Strong will not start winning next year, Horn's will more than likely be 1-5 or at best 2-4 going into their first open week;  but the future does look brighter...IMO   Nebraska along with everyone else in the Big10 are screwed...Buckeyes will remain on top for a while...call it as I see it

Schedule looks tough next year for the Horns...just looked at it...Kyler would definitely know what losing feels like finally...   With that being said, and I'm shocked to say this...I agree with everything above GCM.....effin finally!

I still can't see Kyler going to Texas simply because it's Texas - kid grew up an Aggie!  But I can see him not going to A&M as well....Oregon, OU or baseball if it's not A&M...

Will Texas have successful campaigns going forward?...yes, as I do think it comes in cycles....but pure domination of the state of Texas in all facets of college football....never again

SEC...SEC...SEC -- Southeastern Conference is just better and I've told you this over and over...Aggies switching conferences is killing UT and even OU --> yeah, it's over dude

Honestly I think UT overachieved this past season, but there's 127 other teams with a better QB...I'll give you that...

UT and OU didn't crater, they both suck now...A&M moving to the SEC has affected both of those schools in so many ways it's not even funny...

You may see it as an excuse, but I'm telling you the odds of it happening again are very high...   Big12 needs an undefeated team within...or 2 losses from another....period!   Call it as I see it...

TCU would be 11-1...12-1 trumps that 99.9% of the time...     I like the way they play and agree they were a top 4 team, but until 13th game is added, they, along with all other big12 schools are screwed - IMO

Sort of unsure Buddy, but more than likely FSU or Clemson...   if not then...   SEC(2)    or Big10(2)   Still no Big12 unless there's a crap load of 2-loss teams
