This is the FIRST time I have had to lock a game update thread in the middle of the game.  I hope you are all proud of yourselves.
So, it was solely Vidorians that caused the thread to be locked Chad, is that what you are saying?
Solely?  Absolutely not.  In fact the post which prompted the locking of that thread came from a Crosby poster who use inappropriate racial language.  I would, hoever, note that his remarks were directed at a Vidorian who told the world that he "had his sour pucker." I don't recall the name of that Vidorian, but I remember it being someone close to you. Truth is that there were many transgressions on the thread by many different camps.  It is just that the Vidor camp seems to be the only one who claims clean hands.
Please stop calling folks' anonymous posts "transgressions." They are opinions for crying out loud. The purpose of a site like this is to allow people to read and respond to others opinions. When people get vulgar and tasteless, delete their posts, but don't whine about it. Dry up.

BH 401 yards of offense allowing 202 from lumbertion. even with the 2nd team playing more than the 1st team BH averaged 8.92 yards a rush tonight! Oneal hits 121 tonight he will be hard to keep under a 100 yards a game this year. ]
Considering the starting D only allowed maybe 1/2 of that offense and only allowed Lumberton accross the 50 once, I think it about sums up the performance.  The offense and defense were hitting on all cylinders. 7.
There is pretty much nothing PNG can do to get the respect of the 'haters' out there.  Forget the fact that PNG wore a #28 on their helmets.  We just go out there, leave it all on the field, and walk away with a W.  I guess its time to just look out for ourselves.
You are absolutely correct.  There is nothing PNG can do to get the respect of the "haters" out there.  Rub it in threads such as this are not going to help the situation.  It's the PNG way, always will be.  There are some good people from PNG, but a few folks have ruined it over the years.
 8.
The Jaguars just don't look like there into it! Like they don't care at all! This doesn't look anything like a Central team! Atleast Lumberton doesn't quit even though the coaching is horrible!
Looks like raider44 was a kid that thought he could play football for Lumberton and couldn't cut it.  Probably never played a down of anything in his life and is now bitter towards the coaching staff that saw him for who he really is.  You're not alone raider44.  Lumberton is full of folks like you that don't know a thing about football and automatically blame coaching.  There are still some Lumberton folks out there that know the truth.  Truth is, Lumberton has an excellent coaching staff that does a whole lot with what they have.  Every few years a small 4A town with the demographics such as Lumberton will have an exceptional year or two.  Then, they will have a few down years such as these.  Don't blame coaches just because when you were #44 you thought you got cheated.
 9.
Truth, really wish you would have looked at who I was referring to and read the post I was talking about before you quoted me and mislead from the truth ;D
Sorry, guess I should have read more.
 10. By the way, it's an educated opinion.  I have seen Jasper twice this year play teams on down years.  Squeaked by Lumberton and Kirbyville.  Not too impressive.
 11. Jasper is underachieving.  Word was that this would be a really good team this year with all the publicity last year around hiring a new head coach.  This is just a regular old east texas football team winning games in a bad district.  A few athletes with a pretty good scheme.  Good, not great.  May win a playoff game, but doubtful.  Kirbyville is really a 2a team that graduated a stud class last year.  This should not have even been a game.  Just my opinion, but don't expect much out of the bulldogs in November.
 12.
But 99, your coach shouldn't allow the players to flip off the fans. Can't believe a coach would put up with that?  It says a little for the head coach there to allow that kind of behavior.
Wow, they're kids.  They react without thinking.  Do you honestly think a coach allows kids to act like this, or is it just kids being wrong?  Don't be stupid.
 13.

Kirbyville throws interception with 1:13 left at Wills Point 15 yard line.  Looks like ballgame. Wills point 27 Kirbyville  26
Why were they throwing the ball, when they were in FG range and trailing by 1, with 1:13 left in the game?  ???
That would be a 32 yard field goal.  Not a gimmie fg.  Especially with a missed PAT.  Not every school has a reliable kicker.  Why do people automatically question coaching decisions when they have absolutly no clue about the game of football?
 14.

Let me handle this for you guys....Yes I am a coach at Chester, Coach Meeker. I do not get on here often just wanted to check district scores to see how everyone was doing and came across this. To deal with the finance thing, as a teacher u either teach multiple subjects and multiple grades 6th-12th. We have 6 total coaches for Jr high and High School. We have 9 total teachers for jr high and hs. We have 4 guy coaches and 2 ladies coaches. 3 of us guys coach football, baseball and basketball. 1 of the other guy coaches is our tech guy who films games and is in the box for football, he also does track and cross country boys and girls. Our 2 female coaches coach volleyball, basketball and softball. As coaches we do not make money for every sport we do we mainly share responsibilities and do our part, life coaching at a small school. Ok now for the football part. We had 17 with us at High Island, had 20 oon the roster but really had 18: 1 hurt previously, 1 other reasons, and 1 was at a hunter safety course. So lets do the count against High Island: 3 with broke bones, 2 head injuries (concussions and spinal damage), 1 shoulder (previously injured as well), and 1 hand (not to serious). 3 finished the game against High Island not bc we wanted them to bc they left everything they had out there. After arriving home that leaves us 10 semi-healthy kids. Here is your choice put more kids personal well-being and health at risk for a game? Ask yourself if you want your kid or yourself put in the line of fire? My job and every teacher, coach, parent and responsible human being is to protect kids and your faced with a decision can you have a kid seriously injured just to finish a season. Sry my friends I could not have done that and obviously there were more ppl who did as well. God puts us in a position to protect and guide children, this will teach them 1. their self worth to a team 2. value of every human life there is 3. how important that "1" person is. No I don't like quitting, but for the best intrest of the kids it was the final decision. Do you think we want to take away something like this for the remaining few, esp srs? TRUTH to address you, you seem to be selfish. You are just worried about the last 2 games of district and not the lives of the kid's They sure did not go through 2-a-days and practice to end it like this. Remember when you talk about hs sports first thing is first the kids, then worry about your school and winning. I am not trying to be rude but I see this in society and ppl talk about the kids like they r empty objects that just are production tools. These kids r our future and it is up to you and I to sculp and mold them into good young men and women of God. About this not being fair no it isn't, life ain't fair. Ask ne woman if she thinks its fair she has to get pregnant and experience all that pain while the husband did his part too. Same in this situationChester kid's did their part but can't have the baby or in this case play. Sry just the first thing that came to my head.I have one thing to leave you with and its this......PSALMS 127:3 "Behold CHILDREN are a gift of the Lord" Excellent post coach, get those boys ready for baseball, and my hometown is always on my mind.  Things always have a way of working themselves out, and this will be no different.  God has a plan. Tim Bean

I agree with you coach.  If you don't have 11 healthy kids, you can't and shouldn't play.  I was under the impression from earlier posts that you had 12 healthy kids, which means play.
 15. 58 kids  26 of them boys  20 played football.   One player broke his foot a week earlier and all the injuries in the HI game.  It left 12 guys.
Only need 11 to play.  Have seen, officiated, and coached a few games where teams have kicked off to start a game with nobody on the sideline but a couple of coaches and a waterboy.  Why cancel the remainder of the season?  This isn't fair to the remaining 12 healthy players and the last two district opponents that need games every friday night going into the playoffs.
 16. I was house searching in the Port Neches area, but have since changed my mind after reading this thread. Jackhammer has hit the nail on the head.
 17. Wow, that's faster than the NFL. Anahuac's D could stop the New York Giants with that speed. Unbelievable...literally.
 18. Archives say Lumberton leads the all time series 3-1. Hardly a rivalry.
 19. No, not interested....but I will say that this is an outstanding accomplishment for the Newton football program....a JV victory...YEA!
 20. You would think HF could win some games with kids like this.
 21. ??? huh? Who is we? Is there anyone else living in the same fantasy world as you that actually believes " Jasper really won the game." I could have sworn Kirbyville was 2-0 and Jasper was 0-2. This is now the forth year in a row that Kirbyville has beaten Jasper. When are the whiners going to stop making excuses. Just move on. Maybe Jasper will move on and compete for a 3A state championship...Although it's a long shot if they can't even beat 2A Kirbyville.
 22. You have got to be kidding me....how bout some cheese with your whine.
 23. Is Bailey an 18 year old sophmore? I heard Jasper had to get a waiver for him to play sports this year. Is there any truth to this? If so, will he be eligible to play sports next year? Great athlete by the way. This may explain why it's hard to believe he is a sophmore; him being eligible to vote and buy tobacco and all.
 24. Jasper will not beat Orangefield or anybody without D.B. They are a below average team without him. They are a very good team with him. That is how good a player he is. High ankle sprains take a long time to get over. If that is truly what it is, he will be out 2-3 weeks. That means Jasper will not be playing basketball anymore when he returns.
