Early Fourth Ozen 32 Kingwood Park 25. Also heard that some of the starters were played less because of skipping practice. That is just to clarify things it was a disciplinary action and not because of the coach's cockiness.

[/quote] it also works good for those that are scouting and filming ozen to perpare in case they have to play them.Nothing on tonights film that would help.

No it does help. Shows how Ozen really plays. They foul hard and whine when something doesn't go there way. They will not win Friday because after tonight it is obvious Ozen doesn't have any heart they just expect to win.

Ozen didn't start a few players or played them less in the first half. The others came out expecting to win. They took Kingwood Park for granted. While they came out and dominated the second, it shows that Ozen doesn't have heart. In the playoffs every team has to go into every game as if they are the underdogs. For every senior each game is their last and each player should give 110%. Ozen should have won by 50 but they didn't play like their was no tomorrow. I guess someone could blame the coach for overlooking a team but if they play like this Friday they will lose. Connally is ten times better than Kingwood Park and is probably the only team before the regional finals that will challenge Ozen.

Connally is good.  There are still 64 teams playing and each week it will get tougher and tougher.  Vidor and Central have the toughest matchups this round of the 4A schools in this area.

      Lucky for Orangefield there’s only 3 games max to play.    Someone said they had a pitcher or 2 throw 90’s but I don’t know that for a fact.  Rumors.   it appears that Orangefield will see some faster pitchers this round. Generally speaking I haven’t been too impressed with Orangefield opponents pitching. Only pitcher so far that was fast (92 mph) was vs Woodville in first game & Orangefield got several runs off of him.    Looking for a good series with no injuries for both teams.

      Apologies if this is a stupid question, but why would they just not renew his contract for the 24/25 school year if he had multiple write-ups? I know teachers and paraprofessionals don't get their contract renewed if their performance is bad enough - are coaches' contract situations different?

      It’s very difficult to fire an educator.  It’s not difficult to reassign them and put them in a situation where they’re likely to leave on their own.  I’m not sure of the legality of exposing an employee’s work records, but it seems likely it’s not allowed if nothing criminal took place.
