Area District Playoff Qualifiers/UPDATED SEED & QUALIFIERS, Feb. 16

The following info will show what teams have already clinched playoff spots out of their respective districts (not clinched district titles or seed, will post that info this weekend). Teams listed will not necessarily be in the order of finish. I have also posted teams who are still in the playoff hunt. If you see any errors, please let me know.

Clinched:  North Shore, West Brook, PA Memorial, Channelview

Clinched:  Pearland Dawson, Friendswood, Texas City, Galveston Ball
                           

[b]UPDATE:[/b] Dawson has clinched #1 seed, Friendswood #2 seed and Texas City #3 seed. The #4 seed is Galveston Ball.

20-3A

Clinched:  Lufkin Hudson, Jasper, Diboll


[b]UPDATE:[/b] Hudson (11-1) has clinched district championship and #1 seed. Jasper ( 8-4 ) has clinched #2 seed. Diboll (6-6) is the 3rd seed by way of sweeping Pollock Central (6-6) in district play.

[b]UPDATE:[/b] San Augustine (10-0) has won the out right district title and #1 seed. West Sabine (8-2) has earned the #2 seed by way of sweeping #3 Broaddus (6-4) in district play.


24-1A DI

Clinched:  Big Sandy, Sabine Pass, Hull-Daisetta


[b]UPDATE:[/b] Big Sandy is district champ, #1 seed. Sabine Pass #2 seed, Hull-Daisetta #3 seed.

26-1A DII

Clinched:  Leggett, LaMarque Premiere, Spurger


[b]UPDATE:[/b] LaMarque Premiere is #1 seed, Leggett #2 seed. Spurger is the #3 seed.



Due to different type rules with the TAPPS districts, I did not post on those playoff qualifiers. Will get info over weekend.

22 AAA    3 way tie for 2nd and 3rd      Huffman Plays Splendora @ Kingwood Park High on Thursday. Winner is guranteed at least 3rd and loser will play Coldspring  on  Friday

A little confusing.

Question, if the loser of Huffman/Splendora beats Coldspring on Friday, does that give that team the #3 seed and the winner from Thursday's game is the #2 seed?

Also, if Coldspring wins the game on Friday against the loser of Thursday's game, would they play the winner of Thursday's game on Saturday or do they receive the #2 seed?

So, looks like Nederland plays Humble Tuesday (7:30) @ East Chambers. Can anyone confirm this?
