By just taking those teams in consideration, I think Central has a good shot of repping Region III in Austin.

[/quote]The #1 team in the state is in this region (again). Not sure how that makes it wide open, unless you are talking about the other teams in the region who are all beatable IMO.
Don't know much about Marshall, but apparently they are legit. Surprised Humble is not on this list. I have a feeling Ned will drop out next week with Ozen finding a spot somewhere.
If you want to be ranked, you gotta win big games, and we just haven't done that lately.

Central Medical Magnet High School in Beaumont WILL NOT REP REGION 3 IN AUSTIN...Not THIS year..way too young, and for one other reason I will not say... ::)...Write that one down....Hardin Jefferson has a better shot at beating Yates in the playoffs, than that happening! (OK maybe thats a stretch, but you get my point!  ;D ;D)

You know that's really an easy statement to make. 32 teams make the playoffs in each region so stating that one particular team will not make the state tourney is a pretty easy call.

I say they have a good shot but not saying they will or not make it to Austin.

How about you show us some real knowledge and tell us who WILL represent Region III in Austin? ::)

How many shots do I get at it? ;D....I would say FB Marshall..talented, with an excellent coach in Gary Nichols (former Willowridge and North Shore coach)...write that one down too, and don't forget it once tourney time rolls around either!!  8)
