Girls 4A Playoffs

In past years, Nederland's girls were often able to play with the Region III power teams.  However, last year none of the SE Texas teams made it past the 2nd round in the playoffs.  What's up?  And, do you think any of the SE Texas teams will do better this year?

I believe some of the athletes are moving to volleyball and softball, could be wrong.

Nederland's girls team was young last year, they have a lot of returning players. They will be strong again this year, look for them to do well.

Soccer in this area (Golden Triangle & surrounding) doesn't get half the support it does around Houston, both in and out of high school.  The only major competitive club is Spindletop, with Gulf Coast and Orange each adding a few Div. II teams.  Only a few play year-round.
