How good will HD be this year in bball? I have no clue. I know Edmondson and Welch were all district as freshmen and they are now juniors. Darrell Lavalais is probably the best athlete in the school but I don't even know if he plays basketball. Same with his brother Ken who is 6'2". We also have sophmore Kyle Hopkins that's about 6'4" and Aaron Mosely who's a rangy 6'4" player. Could HD's basketball team make a big statement this season?

[/quote]I did hear basketball was put on hold because of the football playoffs. My son is playing 7th grade basketball, they had to cancel games also due to Coaches being tied up with football. Tonight is his first game in Colmesneil. HD's varsity has a talented team and should be a force in District. Both starting post players are 6'4, Hopkins and Mosley.

[/quote] H-D wont do anything in district there guard play is too weak you have to have a guard to get them the ball duhh a press would kill h-d unless they big men can dribble which i doubt last yr every gaurd combo in district average almost 40= :/

[/quote]To me it's simple, HD now has twice the talent they had last year. Mosley makes HD a playoff team by himself. Mosley has a chance to be
all-state this year and next. The kid is 6'4 with extra long arms and atleast a 35 inch vertical. Not to mention he can shoot 3's also. I know HD has been sub par in basketball, but the next two seasons will be awesome.
