These are the teams that will be participating in the BISD/YMBL Basketball tourney on Nov. 29-Dec. 1

5A Beaumont West Brook
5A Fort Bend Hightower
5A Lufkin
5A #12 North Shore
5A O.P. Walker, New Orleans
5A Port Arthur Memorial
4A Beaumont Central
4A Beaumont Ozen
4A Fort Bend Ridge Point
4A #14 Houston Wheatley
4A Little Cypress-Mauriceville
4A #11 Nederland
4A Port Neches-Groves
3A #8 Dallas Madison
3A #5 Silsbee
3A West Orange-Stark


I have the brackets with match ups and game times but was asked not to post till later in week until all coaches receive brackets. Could be some possible changes to be made.

I will post the first round brackets on Thursday.

This is a 3 game guarantee tourney.

Games will be played at Montagne Center and McDonald Gym

Oh dove.  ??? We LCM Bears are just sacrificial lambs in this tourney. We unfortunately upset the apple cart last year when we beat memorial so our opener will probably be a state ranked opponent this year.  Hopefully we won't have to play those speedy panthers this year til dist.

They are on opposite sides of the bracket. The would only meet in the championship game, 3rd place game or consolation finals.

I expect Silsbee to still be playing football so my expectations of them reaching anyone of these games is very low.
