Wow this is another game we were planning on attending and the time was moved. So how DO I find out when the games are changed, because the times and dates on vidorisd.org are not correct?

Wonder how they expect any support if the times and dates are kept a secret.
[/quote]they were changed due to spring break...trying to let people get out of town sooner etc. it is difficult to keep up with though. it would be nice if they would put something on the visd website. i'm guessing there's nobody there to do it during spring break anyway. it makes attending games a struggle for sure.

This week has been a challenging one not only due to the deviation from the regular Tuesday-Friday schedule because of spring break, but by all of the rescheduling due to the postponements caused by the weather late last week and early this week.

Next week should be a bit more structured.

Much needed win for Vidor to get to 1-1. Tough loss for Lumberton but is not something they can't bounce back from. Not much offense from either team but solid pitching from both starters (Smith and White). Both only had 2 walks going in to 7th and surrendered only 6 hits combined.

Both teams pretty similar. If they can pitch well and play defense they will compete for playoff spot. Will not win many games against tough opponents if they allow 4+ runs due to lack of offense. Both teams are very young (both started around 2 Seniors) and have a solid chance of being good over the next few years if they invest the necessary time and are coached well.

Well we are "baseball people", supporting "soccer people", but we did skip the Ozen matchup last week, due to weather.

If you haven't watched our Pirates soccer team, they are VERY impressive, never been to game until this year, and have enjoyed the two I have attended, we have a great group of young men!
