HAHA you think they're nervous now..... wait til they see the Black Pearl as she unloads and fills the stadium..... We have sold over 1700 tickets in 3 days at the field house.... last week we sold 1200 in 5 days and school was in.... and we filled up our side of W.W.Thorne Stadium to the point of standing room only..... So I can say the Black Pearl will have an even larger crowd this week to cheer for our Pirates!!

[/quote]No reason to be nervous here. The Angleton vs Terry game was "Game of the week" on Houston's channel Two back when both teams were 6-0. (obviously, Terry LOST that one) There were over 11,000 fans @ that game, and MORE THAN HALF of them were from Angleton. And that was six weeks ago :P.

Yes we will...it's gonna be a heckuva battle, but I got my money (figuretively speaking of course  ::) , on the Pirates.

      It has been frustrating seeing the lack of coverage from virtually EVERY media outlet.  We (Chester) are in the SE Texas coverage area.  There are no radio broadcast from our area, and Ch 12 is the only one that has even mentioned it.   I know I could have gotten donations to cover a SETX Sports broadcast.  Oh well, water under the bridge - we aren’t as big as Silsbee, WO-S or PN-G.
