Round 3, don't that sound sweet!! I can't go to sleep so I keep posting....or maybe it's a dream I don't want to wake up from. GO PIRATES GO!!!! We're not playing chumps now so it's obvious for us to keep advancing we gotta play until the final whistle. I'm sure the other teams don't think any less of us. Our MO is we keep busting you in the mouth...

First let me say the Montgomery Bears have a great team and have nothing to hang your heads about. You young men kept fighting and showed a lot of heart. Down 42-14, could've rolled over and quit but you didn't. Well done Montgomery. Very proud of my Pirates. Keep bringing it guys. Quirante is absolutely a leader but this a total team effort.
COACH JEFF MATHEWS, it is an honor to have you leading and guiding our football team. On behalf of the Vidor community, we can't thank you enough! Coaching staff for Vidor was most impressive tonight.

AWESOME GAME!!!!! The tenacity of our Defense is just remarkable... I have said it before and I will say it again... "it's like watching 11 hungry dogs chase 1 porkchop!" OUTSTANDING FOOTBALL on every part of the game!!! Montgomery Bears are a very good football team! Great game! I love the never say die attitude they had....

In all honestly BrenhamFan i think 19-4A had a better chance at a sweep than yall do. All yall got is Brenham and Mont and after tonight you'll only have Brenham.  8)

My fav was in the early 3rd Vidor's Quirante pics of a pass @ the 5 And takes it in for da pic 6.Montgomery down quickly 28-7.Lawd gm was 42-14 w/6  min left.I was celebrating,turned on da sprinklers and dancing in the yard.Dam fire ants,time I shucked all my threads my neighbor put a 2 million candle power flood light on me.Heard him holler"don't look Ethyl-to late like da bears-she took a free shot ;D ;D

This is the smack I was refering to that I had to hear all week leading up to this game. Vidor IMO would place higher than if not tie Montgoemry if they were in our district

Guess you never been to a Angleton playoff game. Last week when we played at Robertson there was 11k there just on the Angleton side and even last night there was no room on the Angleton side. But I can guarantee that there will not be a empty seat at GPISD. When Angleton played Central there in '08 they had the place full within 20 minutes after they opened the gates.

Likewise sir.  I had a good time, and watched a great game.  Again, I'm really impressed with Vidor.  Montgomery....  Keep your heads up.  Y'all played very hard and fought back when many teams would have quit.  You made 17-4A proud.  Great season guys!
